Key Levels & Session Highs/Lows
Aug 16, 2025

The Key Levels & Session Highs/Lows indicator is a professional multi-timeframe support and resistance tool that automatically tracks and displays critical price levels across different trading sessions and timeframes. It serves as a comprehensive reference for day and swing traders by visualizing the intraday and higher-timeframe framework of the market.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify institutional liquidity and market structure. Traders can use the displayed levels to anticipate potential reversals or breakouts.
- Intraday Sessions: Monitor the Highs and Lows of the Asia, London, and New York sessions to identify session-specific ranges.
- Time-Based Opens: Track specific opening candles (such as 08:30 or 09:30 ET) which often act as magnets or pivots for price action throughout the day.
- Higher Timeframes: Identify Previous Day, Weekly, and Monthly highs and lows to understand the broader trend and institutional "protected" levels.
- Mid-Range Analysis: Use the 50% mid-range levels for the Previous Day, Week, or Month to gauge if the market is trading at a premium or discount relative to the prior period.
Details
The script is built to handle global market hours with customizable timezone support. It includes logic to detect when a level has been breached, optionally stopping the line to reduce chart clutter. A "Smart Simplify" feature is included to automatically hide granular session details when moving to higher timeframes (HTF), ensuring the chart remains readable.
The indicator also incorporates advanced pivot calculations:
- Standard Pivot Points: Calculated using (High + Low + Close) / 3 from the previous day.
- Central Pivot Range (CPR): A three-line range consisting of the Pivot Point (PP), Bottom Central (BC), and Top Central (TC), used to identify trending versus range-bound market environments.

Yes, each session has a dedicated "Session Time" input field in the settings menu where you can define the exact hours based on your trading strategy.
