The Reversal Point Dynamics indicator is a comprehensive technical analysis tool designed to identify high-probability market reversal points by quantifying momentum, structural breakdown, and order flow shifts. It synthesizes multiple analytical models—including state analysis, momentum derivatives, and market entropy—into a single unified Probability Score to provide a transparent view of the conviction behind potential trend exhaustion.

Usage

The indicator identifies potential turning points by looking for confluence across several market dynamics. When the Probability Score exceeds the user-defined threshold, signal markers appear on the chart.

  • Standard Reversals (▼/▲): These markers represent fully confirmed signals where momentum, state, and entropy have aligned according to the script's core logic.
  • Divergence Signals (◈): These icons indicate a superior setup where a strong momentum divergence confirms the reversal, suggesting price and underlying dynamics are misaligned.
  • Predictive/Live Signals (?/!): These allow for early detection on unclosed bars, suitable for scalping or aggressive day trading where catching the earliest part of a move is prioritized.
  • Dynamics Control Center: Use the integrated dashboard to monitor real-time metrics such as Volume Spikes, HTF Trend direction, and current Market Entropy (Chaos) levels to filter out choppy conditions.

Details

The script's analytical engine is built upon four primary pillars:

  1. Quantum State Analysis (QSA): Quantizes price into discrete states to identify when the market is at a statistically stretched extreme relative to its recent range.
  2. Price State ROC (PSR): Analyzes the velocity and acceleration of price. Decelerating momentum as price reaches an extreme state is treated as a mechanical signature of trend weakness.
  3. Market Entropy Analysis: Measures the degree of randomness or disorder. High entropy indicates chaotic price action, while low entropy signals an ordered environment more conducive to reliable reversals.
  4. Synthesis Engine: Combines the above factors with RSI, Volume, and Multi-Timeframe (MTF) data to calculate the final Probability Score.

Settings

Core Algorithm

  • Adaptive Analysis Period: The lookback period for state and momentum calculations. Shorter values are more responsive (scalping), while longer values focus on major structures (swing trading).
  • Fractal Strength (Bars): Determines the strictness of pivot detection.
  • MTF Multiplier: Integrates pivot data from higher timeframes for added confluence.

Signal Settings

  • Min Probability %: The quality filter. Only signals exceeding this percentage score will be plotted on the chart.
  • Min Signal Distance (Bars): A cooldown period to prevent signal clustering in choppy markets.
  • Entropy Threshold: The "chaos shield" that invalidates signals when the market is too random.
  • Adaptive Entropy & Aggressive Mode: Toggles to dynamically adjust filters based on trend strength or to relax settings for high-frequency setups.

State Analysis

  • Analysis Levels: The number of discrete states used to divide the price range.
  • Edge Sensitivity: Controls how close to the absolute range top or bottom the price must be to trigger a "stretched" state.
  • Predictive & Live Modes: Enables signals to form on the current, unclosed bar for early entry detection.

FAQ

How do I interpret the "Entropy Particles"?

The small dots (particles) represent an ordered, low-entropy market state. Their presence suggests conditions are ideal for trading, while their color reflects the direction of momentum velocity.

What is the "Singularity" mentioned in the dashboard?

A Singularity event occurs when all underlying pillars (State, Momentum, Entropy, and Volume) align simultaneously, resulting in an "Exceptional" probability score.
