The Indicator Panel MTF (MACD, RSI, Momentum, Stoch, CCI) tool consolidates key technical oscillators for the current and a user-defined higher timeframe into a clean, actionable on-chart dashboard.

Usage

The tool is designed to provide a comprehensive snapshot of market momentum and trend across multiple timeframes without cluttering the main chart area.

  • Multi-Timeframe Analysis: Users can view the values of MACD, RSI, Momentum, Stochastic, and CCI for the current chart timeframe and a specified Higher Timeframe (HTF).
  • Directional Indicators: The panel uses visual cues to indicate trend direction:
    • "▲" (Green): Value is increasing compared to the previous bar.
    • "▼" (Red): Value is decreasing compared to the previous bar.
    • "=" (Neutral): Value remains unchanged.
  • Histogram Analysis: The "Hist" column displays the difference between the indicator line and its signal line (Indicator Value - Signal Value). This helps traders visualize whether the indicator and its signal are converging or diverging, similar to a momentum gauge.
  • HTF Visibility: The higher timeframe rows will only populate if the selected "Resolution" is greater than the current chart timeframe.

Details

This script utilizes five standard technical indicators, each paired with a signal line (9-period EMA) to derive histogram values.

  • MACD: Standard (12, 26, 9) settings.
  • RSI: 14-period length with a 9-period EMA signal.
  • Momentum: 10-period length with a 9-period EMA signal.
  • Stochastic: (14, 3, 3) settings.
  • CCI: 20-period length with a 9-period EMA signal.

The implementation includes non-repainting security calls to ensure that higher timeframe data is historical and accurate. The script also includes built-in alert conditions for MACD and RSI bullish/bearish crossovers on the current timeframe.

Settings

  • Resolution: Defines the higher timeframe to be displayed in the panel (e.g., 60 minutes, Daily).
  • Panel Position: Allows the user to move the table to various corners or edges of the chart (e.g., Top Right, Bottom Left).
