Scalping trading system based on 4 ema lines
Jan 28, 2025

The Scalping trading system based on 4 ema lines tool identifies trend-following scalping opportunities by utilizing a hierarchy of four exponential moving averages to detect momentum and pullbacks.
Usage
The indicator is designed primarily for higher volatility assets on the H1 timeframe. Users can identify trade setups based on the following rules:
- Trend Identification: An uptrend is confirmed when the 8, 12, and 24 EMAs are all above the 72 EMA. Conversely, a downtrend is confirmed when the 8, 12, and 24 EMAs are all below the 72 EMA.
- Bullish Entry: In an uptrend, wait for the price to dip below the 24 EMA. A buy signal is triggered when the candle closes back above the 24 EMA, provided the candle's low is lower than the previous candle's low (liquidity sweep) and the close is in the upper 50% of the candle range.
- Bearish Entry: In a downtrend, wait for the price to rise above the 24 EMA. A sell signal is triggered when the candle closes back below the 24 EMA, provided the candle's high is higher than the previous candle's high and the close is in the lower 50% of the candle range.
- Risk Management: Stop losses are typically placed at the high/low of the signal candle. Profits can be managed using a fixed target or a trailing stop to capture extended moves.
Details
The script focuses on "mean reversion within a trend" by filtering for specific price action characteristics. By requiring a "sweep" of the 24 EMA and a liquidity grab (taking out the previous candle's high or low), the system attempts to filter out weak pullbacks and enter when momentum is likely to resume. The inclusion of the 72 EMA acts as a structural baseline to ensure trades are only taken in the direction of the dominant trend.
Settings
