Candle Pressure Flip Engine
Jun 1, 2026

The Candle Pressure Flip Engine indicator is a professional analysis tool designed to identify potential pressure-shift reversals by evaluating candle behavior, exhaustion moves, and volume confirmation. It provides traders with a structured visual framework for studying price rejection and momentum flips through automated trade-planning projections and historical tracking.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify high-probability reversal zones. It functions by monitoring the price for "exhaustion," where an aggressive trend reaches a potential turning point.
- Identifying Flips: The script prints "BULLISH FLIP ▲" or "BEARISH FLIP ▼" labels when internal conditions—such as exhaustion, rejection wicks, and close-pressure thresholds—are met.
- Trade Visualization: Upon a signal, the tool automatically draws a Target Zone and a Risk Zone. This helps users visualize potential risk-to-reward ratios (defaulting to 2.0R).
- Optimizer Selection: Users can enable the "Auto Best Optimizer" to let the script automatically select the most effective internal parameter combinations (like wick requirement or RR) based on historical performance on the current chart.
- Visual Context: The "Crimson Spine" system provides a price-following aura that tracks volatility and pressure, helping traders differentiate between trending moves and compressed price action.
Details
The script's execution is based on a multi-layered logic system:
- Exhaustion Engine: Uses ATR-based measurements over a lookback period to ensure price has moved significantly before a reversal is considered.
- Wick & Body Analysis: It calculates the percentage of the rejection wick and the candle body relative to its total range. For a bullish flip, price must reject the lows and close near the highs of the candle.
- Volume & Momentum Filters: Optional filters check for "Volume Bursts" (current volume vs. moving average) and "RSI Momentum Flips" (ensuring RSI is turning in the direction of the trade).
- Risk Modes: Traders can choose between "Signal Wick" (placing risk at the wick extremity), "ATR" (fixed volatility distance), or "Hybrid" (the wider of the two).
- Result Tracking: The indicator tracks outcomes. If price hits the target first, a "WIN" stamp is applied; if it hits the risk zone, a "LOSS" stamp is applied. It includes a "SL First" assumption for bars that touch both zones simultaneously.
Settings
General & Pressure Engine
- Signal Mode: Choose between Aggressive (more signals), Balanced, or Conservative (stricter filters).
- Exhaustion Lookback: Sets the number of bars used to measure the prior aggressive move.
- Minimum Rejection Wick %: The required size of the wick relative to the candle range to confirm price rejection.
- Close Pressure Threshold %: Determines how close to the candle's edge the price must close to trigger a signal.
Volume & Momentum
- Use Volume Burst: Enables a requirement for volume to be higher than its moving average.
- Use Momentum Flip: Requires the RSI to show a directional turn before a signal is valid.
Target / Risk & Optimizer
- Default Target Risk Reward: Sets the fixed RR ratio for the projected target zones.
- Risk Mode: Selection between Signal Wick, ATR, or Hybrid risk placement.
- Auto Use Best Optimizer Combo: Enables the background engine to cycle through 27 or 81 combinations to find the highest-performing setup.
Visuals & Alerts
- Visual Theme: Options include Midnight Pro, Ice Minimal, Black Gold, and Red Carbon.
- Enable Dynamic Alerts: Toggle for professional human-readable or JSON-style alerts for signals and trade results.
