The Tripple super Trend + EMA + RSI Strategy indicator is a comprehensive trend-following and momentum tool designed to identify high-probability entries by combining multi-timeframe moving averages, triple SuperTrend filtering, and Stochastic RSI oscillators.

Usage

The strategy is designed to capture trend continuations while ensuring momentum is in your favor. It utilizes three layers of confirmation:

  • Trend Filter: The price must be on the correct side of a high-period EMA. A unique feature allows this EMA to be calculated on a different timeframe than the current chart, providing a macro-trend perspective.
  • Support/Resistance Confirmation: Price must be above (for long) or below (for short) at least two of the three SuperTrend lines, which act as dynamic trailing hurdles.
  • Momentum Timing: The Stochastic RSI provides the final trigger. For long positions, the strategy looks for a cross-up in the oversold region; for short positions, it seeks a cross-down in the overbought region.

Details

This script implements a "voting" system with three SuperTrends of varying sensitivities (Periods and Multipliers). By requiring at least two out of three SuperTrends to agree with the EMA trend, the strategy filters out minor market noise. The Stochastic RSI component ensures that the entry occurs during a temporary pullback or price exhaustion within the larger trend.

The strategy also features a built-in risk management module. Stop losses are calculated based on the lowest low (for longs) or highest high (for shorts) within a user-defined lookback window. Take profit levels are then set using a risk-to-reward ratio (Profit Factor) based on that stop distance.

Settings

EMA & Stoch RSI

  • EMA Timeframe: Sets the timeframe for the trend-filtering EMA.
  • EMA Length: The lookback period for the exponential moving average.
  • Smooth K / Smooth D: Smoothing parameters for the Stochastic RSI lines.
  • RSI/Stoch Length: Lookback periods for the RSI and Stochastic calculations.
  • Oversold/Overbought: Threshold levels for momentum entry triggers.

SuperTrend Configuration

  • Change ATR Calculation Method: Toggles between regular ATR and a smoothed version.
  • ATR Period (1-3): Sets the lookback period for each of the three SuperTrend layers.
  • ATR Multiplier (1-3): Sets the sensitivity/distance for each SuperTrend layer.

Strategy Flags & Risk Management

  • Enable long/short: Toggles specific trade directions.
  • Profitfactor Long/Short: The multiplier used to determine the take profit relative to the stop loss distance.
  • Lowest Low / Highest High Lookback: The window used to find recent swing points for stop loss placement.
