Dynamic Fibonacci Pivot Points & EMA Crossovers
Dec 12, 2021

The Dynamic Fibonacci Pivot Points & EMA Crossovers indicator combines automated Fibonacci range calculations, standard pivot points, and Exponential Moving Average (EMA) pairs to identify key support/resistance levels and trend shifts.
Usage
This tool can be used to identify confluence zones where different technical levels align. For example, a trader might look for price action reacting where a Dynamic Fibonacci level overlaps with a Standard Pivot Point.
The indicator provides several modules:
- Fibonacci Pivot Points: Automatically calculates support and resistance based on the high, low, and close of the selected timeframe.
- Dynamic & Fixed Fibonacci Levels: Draws retracement levels based on the current period's range (Dynamic) or the previous period's range (Fixed).
- OHLC Tracking: Displays the Open, High, Low, and Close of the current and previous periods for the selected timeframe, helping traders visualize historical price boundaries.
- EMA Crossovers: Includes three toggleable EMA pairs (14/21, 50/100, and 150/200). These are commonly used to gauge short-term momentum or long-term trend direction.
Details
The script utilizes request.security to fetch data from higher timeframes (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.) to ensure levels remain consistent across different chart resolutions. The Dynamic Fibonacci levels are calculated by taking the current period's high and low and applying standard ratios (0.236, 0.382, 0.5, 0.618, 0.764). The Centre Pivot Points (CPP) are calculated as the average of the high, low, and close for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly periods simultaneously to provide a multi-timeframe perspective on price equilibrium.
