Multi-Timeframe Squeeze Pro/DIM/Momentum/MA
Feb 3, 2022

The Multi-Timeframe Squeeze Pro/DIM/Momentum/MA indicator provides a comprehensive dashboard for monitoring market volatility, trend direction, and momentum across eight different timeframes simultaneously.
Usage
The tool is designed to help traders identify high-probability setups by aligning multiple conditions across higher timeframes. It displays a table containing four key metrics for each selected resolution:
- Momentum (MOM): Indicates whether price momentum is increasing or decreasing using histogram-based logic.
- Squeeze (SQZ): Based on the Squeeze Pro logic, this identifies periods of market compression (Low, Medium, or High) and volatility expansion.
- 10X DIM: Uses a modified Directional Movement System (DMS) to identify strong trend directional bias.
- Stacked MA (STK): Validates the trend by checking if multiple moving averages are perfectly aligned in order.
A typical long signal might involve looking for green (uptrend) alignment across the 10X and Stacked MA rows on your trading timeframe and the timeframes immediately above it, combined with momentum expansion (cyan).
Details
This script integrates several technical analysis concepts into a single multi-timeframe environment:
- Squeeze Pro Logic: Refines the traditional TTM Squeeze by using three different Keltner Channel multipliers to identify varying levels of market compression.
- 10X Bars System: Derived from J. Welles Wilder’s DMS, this logic filters trends based on ADX thresholds and DI crossovers.
- Stacked Moving Averages: Monitors up to five Moving Averages (SMA, EMA, or DEMA). A "Stacked" state occurs when they are ordered from fastest to slowest (bullish) or slowest to fastest (bearish).
- MFT Implementation: The indicator dynamically fetches data from higher timeframes. Note that the table will not display data for timeframes lower than the current chart resolution to maintain data integrity.
Settings
General & Resolution
- Visibility Toggles: Enable or disable rows for Momentum, Squeeze, 10X, and Stacked MA.
- Res 1-8: Define the eight timeframes to be displayed in the table columns.
- Table Settings: Adjust the position (top, middle, bottom), text size, and colors of the dashboard.
Indicator Configurations
- Squeeze Settings: Configure the TTM Squeeze length and the three Keltner Channel multipliers for compression levels.
- 10X Settings: Adjust the Directional Length and ADX threshold for trend filtering.
- Stack MA Lengths: Define the lengths for five separate moving averages. Setting a length to 0 excludes it from the calculation.
- Moving Average Type: Choose between SMA, EMA, or DEMA for the stacked trend validation.
FAQ
How do I interpret the Squeeze dots?
The dots represent different levels of compression: High Compression (Blue), Mid Compression (Red), Low Compression (Gray), and No Squeeze (Green).
Why are some columns empty in the table?
The indicator is designed to only show timeframes equal to or higher than your current chart timeframe. If you are on a Daily chart, any column set to a 1-hour resolution will not display data.
How can I access Multi-Timeframe Squeeze Pro/DIM/Momentum/MA?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
