Mar 18, 2020

The BEST RSI Divergences Screener (Regular and Hidden) indicator provides a multi-asset dashboard for detecting both regular and hidden RSI divergences across various symbols. This tool allows traders to monitor up to four different financial instruments simultaneously, identifying potential trend reversals or continuations through a unified visual interface.
Usage
The screener displays symbols on a dedicated panel with visual cues to indicate divergence status:
- Square Marker: Appears when a regular or hidden divergence is detected.
- Green Color: Indicates a bullish divergence (Regular: price lower low + RSI higher low; Hidden: price higher low + RSI lower low).
- Red Color: Indicates a bearish divergence (Regular: price higher high + RSI lower high; Hidden: price lower high + RSI higher high).
- Neutral Dash: Displays when no divergence is present.
Traders can use this to scan for high-probability setups across Forex, Crypto, or Stocks without switching charts. Alerts can be configured to trigger when any screened asset develops a bullish or bearish divergence.
Details
The script utilizes the Relative Strength Index (RSI) combined with pivot point detection (left and right lookback) to identify structural shifts. Regular divergences typically suggest a trend reversal, while hidden divergences often signal trend continuation. The script is designed to avoid repainting by referencing fixed historical bars for pivot confirmation. It uses request.security to fetch data for the selected symbols, ensuring that the screener reflects the current timeframe of the chart it is applied to.
