Multi-indicador MACD/RSI/volumen en ventana
Apr 6, 2019

The Multi-indicador MACD/RSI/volumen en ventana indicator consolidates Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and trading volume into a single oscillator pane for streamlined technical analysis. By normalizing disparate data types onto a 1-100 scale, it allows traders to monitor momentum, trend strength, and volume participation simultaneously without cluttering the main chart.
Usage
The Usage section focuses on interpreting the unified signals provided by the indicator:
- MACD Analysis: The MACD line and Signal line are plotted together. The indicator dynamically changes the MACD line color to green when it is above the signal line and red when below.
- RSI Monitoring: The RSI line tracks momentum. It changes color to red when crossing above the overbought threshold (default 80) and green when crossing below the oversold threshold (default 20), signaling potential reversals.
- Volume Integration: Volume is displayed as background columns, scaled relative to the highest volume seen in the lookback period. This helps identify if momentum moves are supported by significant market activity.
Details
Because MACD and Volume typically use absolute price or unit values that differ significantly from the RSI's 0-100 range, this script employs a normalization technique. It calculates the maximum and minimum values over a 500-candle lookback period to rescale the MACD and Signal lines. Similarly, Volume is rescaled as a percentage of the highest volume recorded in that period, ensuring all three metrics fit perfectly within the same visual window.
Settings
Main Settings
- Fuente: Determines the input data used for calculations (default is Close).
- Intervalo rápido MACD: The short-term EMA period for the MACD calculation.
- Intervalo lento MACD: The long-term EMA period for the MACD calculation.
- Intervalo señal MACD: The smoothing period for the MACD Signal line.
- Intervalo RSI: The lookback period used for the Relative Strength Index.
- Límite superior RSI: The threshold for overbought conditions.
- Límite inferior RSI: The threshold for oversold conditions.
FAQ
How do I use the scaled volume?
The volume columns represent the current volume relative to the peak volume of the last 500 bars. A column reaching the top of the pane (100) indicates the highest volume seen in that period.
Can I change the normalization lookback?
While the default lookback is set to 500 bars in the script logic to ensure stability, the primary oscillator parameters for MACD and RSI are fully adjustable via the settings menu.
