ICT Killzones & Macros
Oct 14, 2025

The ICT Killzones & Macros indicator provides a comprehensive suite of session-based timing tools, including configurable ICT session windows, refined macro intervals, and live high/low tracking. It aims to assist traders in identifying key institutional trading windows and price levels with high precision and performance on intraday charts.
Usage
The Usage section highlights how to utilize the various visual elements provided by the tool to mark up a chart:
- Session Visualization: Users can toggle between 5 major Killzones (Asia, London, NY AM, London Close, NY PM) and 8 refined Macros (Asia-1, AM-1, Lunch, etc.). Each window is rendered as a full-height box with an optional header.
- High/Low Tracking: The tool plots live High/Low lines for the active window. These can be extended to the right until price crosses the level or the trading day concludes.
- Opening Prices: Lightweight price lines can be set for specific times (e.g., Midnight 00:00, 08:30, or 09:30). These lines are scoped to specific sessions to keep the chart clean after the relevant trading window closes.
- Next-Window Previews: Enable "Next" headers to see a preview of the earliest upcoming Macro or Killzone before it starts.
Details
The script is built to be clock-robust and timezone-aware by utilizing IANA timezone logic (defaulting to America/New_York). This ensures that Daylight Savings Time (DST) changes are handled automatically and session times remain consistent across different brokers.
The tool manages chart performance by using a "Sessions to show" setting, which automatically prunes older drawings to prevent lag. High/Low extensions can be configured to stop at the end of the trading day or persist across days until a price cross occurs.
