SignalsOscillators

The Binary option 1 minute indicator is a specialized momentum-based tool that combines the Stochastic RSI and the Relative Vigor Index (RVI) to identify potential short-term reversals on the chart. By looking for specific overbought and oversold conditions synchronized across two distinct oscillators, it aims to provide high-probability entry signals for scalp-focused trading.

Usage

The tool is primarily used to identify scalping opportunities on low-timeframe charts. It generates visual signals directly on the price action:

  • Bullish Signal (Green Triangle): Occurs when the Stochastic RSI is in the oversold territory (below 30), performs a bullish crossover, and the RVI simultaneously crosses above its signal line.
  • Bearish Signal (Red Triangle): Occurs when the Stochastic RSI is in the overbought territory (above 70), performs a bearish crossover, and the RVI simultaneously crosses below its signal line.

These signals are designed for quick trades where momentum is expected to shift rapidly after an extreme reading.

Details

The script integrates two core technical concepts:

  1. Stochastic RSI: This measures the RSI relative to its own high-low range over a set period. It is more sensitive than standard RSI, making it useful for identifying cycles within a trend.
  2. Relative Vigor Index (RVI): This oscillator measures the conviction of a current price move by comparing the closing price to the trading range, smoothed with a Symmetrically Weighted Moving Average (SWMA).

The indicator filters signals by requiring both components to align. A signal only appears if the Stochastic RSI is at an extreme level (30/70) while the RVI confirms the change in energy.

Settings

  • Length: Sets the lookback period for the RVI calculation.
  • SmoothK: The smoothing period for the %K line of the Stochastic RSI.
  • SmoothD: The smoothing period for the %D (signal) line of the Stochastic RSI.
  • RSI Length: The lookback period used for the underlying RSI calculation.
  • Stochastic Length: The lookback period used to calculate the Stochastic values from the RSI.
  • RSI Source: Determines the price data (e.g., Close, Open, HL2) used for the RSI calculation.

FAQ

How do I use the Binary option 1 minute signals?

Wait for a triangle to appear on the chart. A green triangle below a bar suggests a potential upward move, while a red triangle above a bar suggests a potential downward move, typically used for short-duration trades.

Can I use this on higher timeframes?

While the name suggests a 1-minute focus, the logic of combining Stochastic RSI and RVI can be applied to any timeframe. However, the sensitivity of the default settings is optimized for faster charts.
