Breaker Blocks Signals
Jan 23, 2026

The Breaker Blocks Signals indicator automates the detection and visualization of Breaker Blocks, allowing traders to identify high-probability market reversal zones through structural shifts in price action.
Usage
The script is effective across various timeframes, though intraday traders often find it most reliable on the 15m or 1h charts.
- Pending Blocks: Gray boxes represent potential Orderblocks formed by aggressive price impulses.
- Breaker Transformation: If price closes entirely through a gray bearish box, it transforms into a green Bullish Breaker. Conversely, if price closes below a gray bullish box, it becomes a red Bearish Breaker.
- Rejection Signals: Small "▲" and "▼" icons appear when price enters an active Breaker Block and shows signs of respect or rejection, indicating a potential trade entry.
- Sensitivity: Use the "Z-Score Window" to adjust how the script detects impulses; a lower value makes the tool more sensitive to smaller price movements.
Details
The indicator identifies "Algorithmically Significant" moves by calculating a Z-Score of price distance over a specified window. When a Z-Score exceeds 4, the script marks the last opposite-colored candle as an Orderblock. These blocks transform into Breaker Blocks when price "mitigates" them by closing on the opposite side. This transition reflects a shift in market regime where previous supply becomes demand (or vice versa), often as institutional participants exit trapped positions.
Settings
Calculation
- Prevent Overlap: When enabled, the script will not create new blocks if their price range overlaps with an existing active zone, keeping the chart clean.
- Z-Score Window (bars): The lookback period used to normalize price impulses. Higher values result in fewer, more significant signals.
- Max Box Age (bars): The maximum duration a zone remains on the chart before being removed to prevent clutter.
Appearance
- Bullish Colour: Sets the color for bullish breaker zones and rejection signals.
- Bearish Colour: Sets the color for bearish breaker zones and rejection signals.
