The Fibonacci Circle Zones indicator tool provides a geometric visualization of potential support and resistance zones based on price-time relationships. It extends traditional Fibonacci circle concepts by offering flexible anchoring, various mathematical scaling formulas, and advanced radius calculations to help traders identify harmonic market proportions.

Usage

The Fibonacci Circle Zones tool is primarily used to identify areas of confluence where price and time intersect at key mathematical ratios. By defining two anchor points (A and B), typically representing a swing high and swing low, the indicator projects expanding circular zones outwards.

Example use cases:

  • Trend Expansion: Use the "GoldenFib" formula to project standard Fibonacci expansion zones from a completed swing to find potential price targets.
  • Cycle Analysis: Select "Center L" to project from a point of temporal symmetry, helping to identify when a full time cycle might conclude relative to the initial price move.
  • Market Decay/Consolidation: Use "PhiDecay" to visualize shrinking geometric zones, which can be useful for identifying areas where price momentum may be decelerating.

Details

Unlike traditional linear Fibonacci levels, these zones incorporate the aspect of time. The geometry is constructed from a defined center point using various mathematical constants. The tool includes standard Fibonacci ratios (φ) alongside other significant mathematical values like Pi (π), Euler's number (e), and the Silver Ratio.

A core innovation of this script is the flexibility of the center point. Users can choose from 15 different anchor points (A through N, plus X), ranging from simple midpoints to complex forward projections that extrapolate the A-B geometry into the future. Point X represents the default midpoint, aligning with standard charting tools.

Settings

Center and Formula

  • Center: Selects the origin point for the circles (e.g., Start A, End B, Midpoint X, or various projected points C-N).
  • Circle Formula: Chooses the mathematical constant used to scale the radii (e.g., eScaled, FibCircle, GoldenFib, SilverRatio, PiScaled).

Fib Levels

  • Level Value (0-11): Configurable mathematical values for up to 12 individual circle levels.
  • Level Color/Visibility: Individual toggles and color pickers for each level.

Advanced Settings

  • Radius Calc: Determines if the base radius is calculated by vertical price range (Auto) or the diagonal price-time vector (Geometric).
  • Chart Scale: Adjusts calculations to match "Standard" or "Logarithmic" price scales for geometric accuracy.

Visual Settings

  • Plots: Controls which arc segments are displayed (Upper, Lower, or All).
  • Labels: Sets the position of numerical level values.
  • Setup: Toggles the visibility of the A-B anchor point markers and center point identifiers.

FAQ

How do I use the Fibonacci Circle Zones on my chart?

You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free. Once added, define points A and B on your chart to begin the calculation.

Why do the circles only start appearing after point B?

The indicator requires a confirmed price-time relationship between two points. Once the time of Point B is reached, the geometry of the swing is finalized, allowing the circles to be rendered accurately.

Does the indicator work on logarithmic charts?

Yes, you must set the "Chart Scale" setting to "Logarithmic" in the indicator's configuration panel to ensure the circles maintain correct geometric proportions on log-scaled charts.
