RSI Structure Engine (Aggressive Soft)
Dec 19, 2025

The RSI Structure Engine (Aggressive Soft) indicator measures market direction and turning points by analyzing the internal structure of the Relative Strength Index (RSI). Unlike traditional oscillators that rely solely on overbought and oversold levels, this tool identifies structural shifts such as Higher Highs (HH), Higher Lows (HL), Lower Highs (LH), and Lower Lows (LL) within the RSI oscillator itself to determine trend continuity and exhaustion.
Usage
The Usage section focuses on interpreting the RSI's structural patterns to filter market trends and identify potential reversals.
- Trend Filtering: Users can determine the market bias by looking at the most recent RSI structure. A series of Higher Highs and Higher Lows suggests an upward trend, while Lower Highs and Lower Lows indicate a downward trend.
- Momentum Regimes: The indicator highlights three primary zones:
- RSI ≥ 70: Strong upward momentum (Peak Regime).
- RSI ≤ 30: Strong downward momentum (Bottom Regime).
- 30–70: Neutral or transition zone.
- Structure Confirmation: The tool "locks" peaks and troughs only after a specific price retracement. A peak is confirmed when the RSI falls below a mid-high threshold (default 40) after being above 70. Conversely, a valley is confirmed when the RSI rises above a mid-low threshold (default 60) after being below 30.
- Trend Protection: In a bullish environment, the Higher Low (HL) should be protected; if the RSI breaks a previous HL, it signals that the current trend may be ending. In a bearish environment, the Lower High (LH) should be protected.
Details
The RSI Structure Engine operates using a 7-period RSI by default to provide a more responsive "Aggressive" reading of market momentum. The core logic revolves around a state machine that tracks "Live Tracking Dots" during extreme RSI readings. These dots follow the absolute peak or trough in real-time but do not plot a permanent label until the "Lock Logic" is triggered. This prevents "repainting" of structure labels once the specific recovery threshold (40 or 60) is met. By connecting these locked points with trendlines, the script visualizes the RSI's trajectory, making it easier to spot divergences and structural breaks that precede price action shifts.
Settings
RSI & Levels
- RSI Periyot: Sets the length of the RSI calculation (Default: 7).
- Tepe Başlangıç: The threshold above which the script begins looking for a peak (Default: 70).
- Dip Başlangıç: The threshold below which the script begins looking for a valley (Default: 30).
- Tepe Kilit (Alt): The RSI value the oscillator must cross below to "lock" a peak established above 70 (Default: 40).
- Dip Kilit (Üst): The RSI value the oscillator must cross above to "lock" a valley established below 30 (Default: 60).
Visuals
- Max Swing: Limits the number of historical lines and labels shown on the chart.
- HH / HL / LH / LL: Toggles the display of structural text labels.
- Bağlantı Çizgileri: Enables or disables lines connecting the locked structural points.
- Canlı Takip Noktaları: Toggles the real-time dots that track the current RSI extreme before it is locked.
FAQ
How do I interpret the HH and LL labels?
The labels indicate structural shifts in momentum. An "HH" (Higher High) followed by an "HL" (Higher Low) suggests building bullish momentum, whereas an "LH" (Lower High) and "LL" (Lower Low) suggest building bearish momentum.
Does this indicator provide buy and sell signals?
This tool is primarily a trend filter and structural analyzer. It is designed to answer which side of the market you should be on rather than providing specific entry or exit triggers. It should be used in conjunction with other price action tools.
