All-Time-High Drops and Bounces Screener
Jun 17, 2022

The All-Time-High Drops and Bounces Screener tool provides a comprehensive dashboard to monitor historical peaks and recovery performance for up to 40 different assets simultaneously. It is designed to help traders identify how far a security has fallen from its peak and the strength of its subsequent bounce from the lows established after that peak.
Usage
The screener is primarily used to track the "drawdown" status of a portfolio or watchlist. By viewing the data in a single table, you can quickly spot assets that are significantly oversold or those showing strong recovery momentum.
- ATH Tracking: Monitor the historical All-Time High price for each selected ticker.
- Time Since Peak: View the "Days ago" column to understand the duration of the current correction or bear cycle.
- Drawdown Analysis: The "Down" column shows the current percentage drop from the ATH, helping identify assets with the largest discounts.
- Recovery Monitoring: The "Bounce" column calculates the percentage increase from the lowest point reached since the ATH was established.
Details
The script executes logic across multiple symbols using request.security. For each asset, it determines the All-Time High by tracking the highest value of the chosen source (defaulting to High) over the entire available history.
The "Days Since ATH" is calculated by comparing the current timestamp to the timestamp of the bar where the ATH occurred. The "Bounce" metric identifies the lowest price recorded between the ATH date and the current bar, then calculates the percentage gain from that low to the current closing price.

FAQ
How do I interpret the "Bounce" value? The bounce value represents how much the price has recovered from its lowest point since the All-Time High. A higher percentage indicates a stronger recovery from the bottom.
Can I use this on any timeframe? While the internal logic for the screener pulls data based on daily calculations to maintain ATH consistency, the table will display on your current chart regardless of the timeframe selected.
How do I get access to the All-Time-High Drops and Bounces Screener? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
