The Algo Trading Signals - Buy/Sell System indicator is a sophisticated intraday trading tool that generates precise entry and exit signals based on a dynamic box breakout strategy with intelligent position management. It identifies high-probability opportunities by monitoring price breakouts from a defined opening range and offers automated scaling and target adjustment.

Usage

The Usage section focuses on identifying breakout opportunities after a reference range is established. Once the script forms a box based on the specified time window, it waits for price action to confirm a breakout.

  • Primary Entries: A "BUY" or "SELL" label appears when the price closes above or below the box boundaries for a user-defined number of confirmation bars.
  • Add-On Entries: If a trade is active and the price pulls back by a specific point distance without invalidating the trend, the script triggers "ADD BUY" or "ADD SELL" signals to scale into the position.
  • Exits: The script plots "TP" labels and markers when the price reaches the calculated target level.
  • Visual Elements: Users can monitor trades via the on-chart labels, dotted target lines, and a real-time statistics dashboard that tracks total signals, add-ons, and current trade status.

Details

The script operates in phases to ensure structured trade execution:

  1. Box Formation: During the specified start and end times, the script tracks the high and low to create a reference range.
  2. Breakout Detection: After the window closes, the script requires a specific number of "Breakout Confirmation Bars" to close outside the box to filter out false breakouts.
  3. Position Management: Upon entry, a target price is set based on the "Target Points (TP)" setting. If the target is hit, the script automatically shifts the reference box to the new level to seek the next trend continuation.
  4. Cooldown: To prevent overtrading, a "Cooldown After Trade" period ensures the script waits for a specific number of bars before looking for new setups.
