The CustomScreener tool provides a modular framework for monitoring multiple assets simultaneously, allowing traders to track specific technical conditions across a customizable watchlist of up to 100 tickers.

Usage

The Usage section focuses on how to navigate the multi-asset output and customize the symbol list. Users can view results for 10 items at a time to maintain chart clarity. To cycle through a larger watchlist, navigate to the settings and adjust the active range (e.g., from "1-10" to "11-20").

Example usage:

  • Identify trend alignment across an entire sector by monitoring color-coded results or specific value thresholds.
  • Filter for assets meeting specific RSI criteria, such as finding all stocks within a list that are currently above a defined overbought level.

Details

The script utilizes the request.security() function to fetch data for various symbols defined in the source code. It is designed to be highly customizable; by modifying the "Symbol Definitions" section in the Pine Script code, users can replace the default tickers with their own preferred exchange and asset names. The screener currently processes 10 concurrent requests to optimize performance while offering a total capacity of 100 symbols via index switching.

Settings

  • Stock List: Selects the active range of 10 stocks to display on the chart (e.g., 1-10, 11-20, etc.).
  • RSI Length: Determines the period used for the internal RSI calculation.
  • RSI Overbought Level: Sets the threshold that triggers a positive screening result for each asset.

FAQ

How do I change the stocks being screened? To change the tickers, you must edit the symbol definitions within the Pine Script source code to match your specific exchange and watchlist.

Why does it only show 10 results at a time? To ensure performance stability and visual clarity, the indicator displays results in batches of 10. You can switch batches using the "Stock List" setting.

How can I access CustomScreener? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
