The Quantum Vector Alerts indicator is a specialized volume and price action analysis tool that identifies climax volume bars and provides customizable imbalance alerts based on PVSRA (Price, Volume, Spread Analysis) principles.

Usage

The script is designed to monitor volume surges and directional imbalances across different lookback periods. It is particularly effective for low-timeframe trading (seconds/minutes) but remains applicable to higher timeframes.

Main features include:

  • PVSRA Candle Coloring: Automatically colors bars based on volume relative to a moving average. Red/Green represent extreme climax volume (200%+), while Blue/Violet represent high volume (150%+).
  • Vector Imbalance Alerts: Users can set alerts based on a "Normal Count" (e.g., 3 green vectors within the last 20 bars) or a "Percentage Count" (e.g., green vectors making up 70% of the total vector count).
  • Volume Ratio: This feature calculates the total volume distributed within bullish vs. bearish vectors, providing a weighted ratio to identify which side has more significant participation.
  • Multi-Length Analysis: The script supports three simultaneous lookback lengths (e.g., 50, 200, 800 bars) to provide a comprehensive view of sentiment across different sample sizes.

Details

The script utilizes a logic based on the "Traders Reality" PVSRA system. It categorizes candles into "vectors" when specific volume thresholds are met relative to the previous 10-bar average. Climax volume is detected when volume is 200% of the average or when the product of candle spread and volume is at a 10-bar high. By aggregating these vector occurrences, the tool identifies institutional-level activity and potential trend exhaustion or continuation points.

Settings

Options

  • Colored candle?: Toggles the PVSRA color scheme on the chart.
  • Activate Alert Volume: Enables notifications when a single bar's volume exceeds the specified "Alert Volume" threshold.
  • Bars Length (First/Second/Third): Defines the sample size (number of bars) used for vector counting and ratio calculations.
  • Do alert for percentage vector counting?: If checked, alerts trigger based on the percentage ratio of bull vs. bear vectors.
  • Do alert for normal vector counting?: If checked, alerts trigger based on a fixed number of vectors appearing in the lookback period.
  • Use Blue and Violet Vector?: Determines whether high-volume (150%) bars are included in the counts alongside climax (200%) bars.

Vector Alerts

  • Bullish/Bearish Vector Count: The minimum number of colored vectors required for a "Normal" alert.
  • Bullish/Bearish Vector count percentage: The required percentage of one vector type relative to the total vectors for a "Percentage" alert.

Volume Ratio

  • Volume Ratio: Enables alerts based on the total volume summation within vectors.
  • Volume Ratio bullish/bearish for alert: The percentage threshold of volume concentration required to trigger an alert.

PVSRA Colors

  • Vector Colors: Customization for Red, Green, Violet, and Blue climax/high-volume bars.
  • Regular Colors: Customization for non-vector up and down candles.

FAQ

How do I use the percentage imbalance alert?

Select "Do alert for percentage vector counting" and set your preferred percentage (e.g., 70%). If the script detects that 70% or more of the vectors in your sample size are bullish, an alert will trigger.

What is the difference between Green/Red and Blue/Violet candles?

Green and Red candles represent the highest level of volume intensity (200% average). Blue and Violet represent significant but slightly lower volume intensity (150% average).
