Usage

The TrendCraft ICT indicator uses two SMAs based on the high and low prices to define a "trend channel." When the price is above both lines, the market is considered bullish; below both lines, it is bearish; and within the lines, it is neutral. This trend filter is then combined with market structure analysis.

To use the tool effectively, traders can choose between two signal types:

• BOS (Break of Structure): Best for trend continuation strategies. A buy signal is generated when the price closes above the latest bullish BOS level while remaining above the SMA channel.
• MSS (Market Structure Shift): Best for identifying potential trend reversals or "breakers." A buy signal is generated when the price closes above the latest bullish MSS level while remaining above the SMA channel.

The tool includes visual labels ("Buy" and "Sell") and supports alerts for both conditions.

By integrating SMA trend-smoothing with the structural precision of ICT concepts, the script filters out market noise. Signals are only produced when there is an alignment between the current price position relative to the SMAs and a structural breakout, which helps in avoiding false signals during choppy or sideways markets.

• SMA Length: Sets the lookback period for the high/low SMA channel. Shorter values increase sensitivity, while higher values provide a smoother trend filter.

Why are there no signals on my chart?

Ensure that the "Structure Timeframe" is set to a higher value than your current chart timeframe. Additionally, signals require the price to be outside the SMA channel and breaking a structural level simultaneously.
