The AI Smart Order Flow Volume Candles indicator highlights institutional buying and selling pressure by integrating volume delta analysis, liquidity sweep detection, and automated risk management.

Usage

The AI Smart Order Flow Volume Candles tool is designed to identify high-probability trade setups based on order flow dynamics. Users can monitor the chart for specific signal labels and volume-based candle coloring:

  • Trade Signals: A "BUY" or "SELL" label appears when a liquidity sweep coincides with a volume spike and confirming volume delta.
  • Candle Coloring: Candles are dynamically colored to show market sentiment. Bright colors indicate volume spikes (strong pressure), while darker shades represent normal bullish or bearish activity.
  • Volume Data: During significant volume spikes, the tool displays estimated buy and sell volume figures directly on the chart to provide immediate insight into order flow distribution.
  • Risk Management: Upon a signal, the indicator automatically projects a risk-reward box. This box uses the Average True Range (ATR) to set a Stop Loss and a user-defined multiplier for the Take Profit level.

This tool is particularly effective for scalping and day trading on lower timeframes (1m to 15m), where liquidity traps and institutional participation are most visible.

Details

The indicator operates through the convergence of three core analytical components:

  1. Volume Delta Analysis: It estimates buying and selling pressure by calculating the difference between estimated buy volume and sell volume based on candle direction.
  2. Volume Spike Detection: It identifies unusual activity by comparing the current volume to a 20-period Simple Moving Average (SMA). A multiplier is used to define what constitutes a "spike," often signaling institutional intervention.
  3. Liquidity Sweep Identification: The script tracks price action relative to recent highs and lows. A "sweep" occurs when the price moves past a 10-period extreme and subsequently closes in the opposite direction, suggesting a stop-run or liquidity grab.

Settings

  • Volume Spike Multiplier: Adjusts the sensitivity of volume spike detection relative to the 20-period moving average.
  • Risk Reward: Sets the target profit ratio relative to the ATR-based stop loss for the automated trade boxes.

FAQ

How do I use the volume numbers on the chart?

The numbers represent estimated buy and sell volume during high-activity periods, helping you confirm if the volume spike is driven predominantly by buyers or sellers.

What do the different candle colors mean?

Bright Green/Red candles indicate a volume spike with positive/negative delta. Darker Green/Maroon candles represent standard price action without significant volume expansion.
