The StochRSI x RSI x CCI x EMAs indicator provides a multi-confluence analysis tool designed to consolidate momentum, trend, and overbought/oversold conditions into a single streamlined workspace. By integrating Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic RSI, Commodity Channel Index (CCI), and Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), it helps traders identify price strength and potential momentum shifts while reducing visual clutter on the main chart.

Usage

This tool can be used to gauge market strength and identify confluence between oscillators and trend-following components. Users can observe the background coloring and visual shapes to determine when multiple conditions align.

  • Background Highlighting: A blue background appears when Stochastic RSI is bullish (K > D) and the Short RSI crosses above 30. A red background occurs when Stochastic RSI is bearish (K < D) and Short RSI crosses below 70.
  • Momentum Crosses: Green "+" shapes indicate Stochastic RSI is above 80 and making higher highs, while red "x" shapes indicate it is below 20 and making lower lows.
  • CCI Confluence: Horizontal lines at the top and bottom change color (Orange/Red or Blue/Green) when the CCI crosses critical levels (+/- 100 or 200) in agreement with the Stochastic RSI direction.
  • Traffic Lights: Three distinct signals at the end of the oscillator window provide a quick summary:
    • Light 1: Agreement between Long RSI trend and Stochastic RSI direction.
    • Light 2: Relationship between price and the two EMAs (Trend).
    • Light 3: Full confluence between the oscillator and price action components.

Details

The indicator relies on the concept of multi-timeframe or multi-period confluence. It uses a "Short RSI" (typically set to a period of 2) for rapid sensitivity and a "Long RSI" for broader trend context. The internal logic compares the relationship between these oscillators and price relative to two EMAs to filter out low-probability signals and highlight high-momentum environments.

Settings

Oscillator Settings

  • Long RSI Length: Determines the period for the primary trend RSI.
  • RSI EMA Length: Sets the period for the smoothing EMA applied to the RSI.
  • Short RSI Length: Sets the period for the highly sensitive RSI (default 2).
  • Stoch RSI Length / Stochastic Length: Controls the lookback periods for the Stochastic RSI calculation.
  • K / D: Smoothing parameters for the Stochastic %K and %D lines.
  • CCI Length: The lookback period for the Commodity Channel Index.

Trend Settings

  • EMA Length 1 / 2: Sets the periods for the two Exponential Moving Averages used to determine price action bias.

FAQ

How do I interpret the background colors?

The background colors highlight specific zones where the Short RSI and Stochastic RSI find confluence, signaling potential entry or exit areas based on momentum agreement.

What do the shapes at the top and bottom mean?

Crosses and "X" symbols indicate extreme momentum conditions where the Stochastic RSI is maintaining strength or weakness at extreme overbought or oversold levels.
