ICT Asian Range and Killzones (Power of 3)
Sep 11, 2024

The ICT Asian Range and Killzones indicator highlights key trading sessions and their respective price ranges to help traders identify areas of high market activity and potential volatility. This tool automatically plots the Asian Range, London Open Killzone, and New York Open Killzone using customizable timeframes and visual styles.
Usage
The indicator can be used to identify institutional trading windows and liquidity pools formed during specific sessions. Traders often look for price expansions or reversals stemming from these ranges.
- Asian Range: Highlights the high and low of the Asian session. This range is often used as a consolidation period where a breakout during the London or New York sessions can indicate daily direction.
- London & New York Killzones: These boxes highlight periods of high volatility during the major market opens. The high and low of these zones are marked with labels and horizontal lines upon session completion, serving as potential support or resistance levels for the remainder of the day.
- Visual Integration: Users can toggle specific killzones on or off and adjust background colors to match their chart theme.
Details
The script uses UTC-based timestamps to define session boundaries. It includes a built-in Daylight Savings Time (DST) adjustment logic to ensure session boxes align correctly with seasonal time shifts. The indicator tracks the highest high and lowest low in real-time during the specified hours and encapsulates them in a box. Once the session ends, it leaves a trailing line and label at the extreme points for historical reference.
