CRR Market Structure
Feb 7, 2026

The CRR Market Structure indicator provides an educational chart overlay designed to help traders visualize market structure and price behavior through swing points, breaks, and character changes.
Usage
The CRR Market Structure tool is designed as a context-driven guide for discretionary analysis. It identifies key structural points such as Higher Highs (HH), Higher Lows (HL), Lower Highs (LH), and Lower Lows (LL) to help determine the prevailing trend.
- Structure Identification: Use HH and HL labels to identify bullish trends, and LH and LL labels for bearish trends.
- Trend Continuation & Shifts: The indicator automatically plots Break of Structure (BOS) lines to confirm trend continuation and Change of Character (ChoCH) labels to highlight potential structural reversals.
- Range Analysis: Yellow dotted lines represent the current active trading range, assisting in identifying phases of consolidation or expansion.
- Fibonacci Retracements: When enabled, the tool plots internal 0.382, 0.5, and 0.618 levels within the most recent range to provide additional price context.
Details
The script utilizes pivot-based logic to detect swing highs and lows based on a user-defined period. A unique feature of this indicator is the optional confirmation filter system. When active, the tool evaluates the "strength" of a BOS or ChoCH by checking if the close exceeds the level by a specific ATR multiplier, verifies if volume is above a moving average, and ensures MACD alignment and the absence of significant price gaps. This helps differentiate between significant structural breaks and potential false breakouts.

FAQ
How do I interpret a Change of Character (ChoCH)? A ChoCH typically represents the first sign of a potential trend reversal, occurring when the price breaks the most recent opposite swing point (e.g., a higher low being broken in an uptrend).
What does the "Strong" vs "Weak" label styling mean? If the confirmation filters are enabled, labels will change color or intensity based on whether the price action meets the ATR, Volume, and MACD requirements defined in the settings.
