The RF+ Divergence Scalping System indicator is a comprehensive technical analysis tool designed for low-timeframe traders to identify potential trend reversals and continuations through multi-oscillator divergence detection. By bundling real-time divergence drawing with trend filters and momentum signals, it serves as an all-in-one workstation for scalping strategies.

Usage

The Usage section highlights how to integrate the system's various components into a cohesive trading strategy.

  • Divergence Trading: The core functionality involves monitoring the chart for real-time divergence lines. Regular divergences (solid lines) suggest potential trend reversals, while hidden divergences (dashed lines) suggest trend continuation.
  • Trend Filtering: Users should look for confluence between the dual Range Filters and the detected divergences. For example, a bullish divergence occurring while price is above the Range Filters can indicate a high-probability trend continuation entry.
  • MTF Confluence: The indicator provides ribbons for Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Stochastic RSI and CCI. When these ribbons show overbought (red) or oversold (green) conditions across multiple timeframes simultaneously, it increases the reliability of reversal signals.
  • Heikin Ashi Support: For traders using Heikin Ashi, the "Real Price" features provide a clear view of the actual price action (line or dots) to ensure precise entries and exits.

Details

The script is built upon optimized logic for detecting divergences across up to 11 different oscillators, including the Ultimate Oscillator (UO), True Strength Index (TSI), and Money Flow Index (MFI).

Key implementation details include:

  • Dynamic Pivot Periods: The system automatically adjusts pivot lookback periods based on the chart timeframe (1m to 15m) to ensure sensitivity is optimized for scalping.
  • Hybrid Oscillators: Includes custom calculations like the "UFO," which averages UO and MFI values for a smoothed momentum perspective.
  • Session Management: A built-in session highlighter allows traders to focus on specific market hours (London, New York, etc.) while dimming non-active sessions to reduce visual clutter.

Settings

General Settings

  • Show Dashboard: Toggles a summary table showing the status of various indicators and nearby divergences.
  • Show Range Filters: Enables two range-based trend filters to determine the short-term market bias.
  • Show Real Price Line/Dots: Displays actual price data on Heikin Ashi charts to avoid price distortion.

Divergence Settings

  • Show Divergence Lines: Toggles the visibility of regular and hidden divergence lines on the chart.
  • Don't Wait for Confirmation: If enabled, signals are plotted as soon as the pivot is identified rather than waiting for candle closure.
  • Use divergences from indicators: A series of checkboxes (UO, TSI, RSI, MFI, etc.) to select which oscillators are used for divergence detection.

MTF & Signal Settings

  • MTF Stoch RSI/CCI Ribbon: Configurable timeframes and thresholds for the overbought/oversold status ribbons.
  • Show RF Pullbacks with Divergences: Enables specialized signals for trend continuation when price pullbacks align with divergence logic.

FAQ

How do I interpret the divergence lines on my chart? Regular divergences (potential reversals) are typically drawn as solid lines, while hidden divergences (potential continuations) are drawn as dashed lines. You can further customize these in the "Divergence Settings" group.

What is the purpose of the Range Filters in this system? The Range Filters act as a trend direction filter. Traders often look for long entries only when both filters are green and short entries only when both are red, using them to validate divergence signals.

How can I access the RF+ Divergence Scalping System? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
