Structure Flow Pro
Apr 26, 2026

The Structure Flow Pro indicator is a comprehensive Smart Money Concepts (SMC) toolkit that identifies market structure shifts, high-probability order blocks, and liquidity zones using momentum-validated logic. It is designed to provide traders with a quantitative framework for institutional price action analysis across any liquid financial instrument.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify trend shifts and institutional zones. The tool is primarily used to identify High-Probability Zones (HPZ) and confirm entries using a multi-factor confluence score.
- Market Structure Confirmation: Use the MSB (Market Structure Break) and BMS (Break of Market Structure) labels to identify trend shifts. An MSB occurs when price closes beyond a pivot with significant momentum (validated by a Z-score), while a BMS requires a strong candle body close, signaling higher conviction.
- Order Block Trading: When a structural break occurs, the indicator identifies the originating Order Block (OB). Look for zones tagged with the ⬡HPZ badge, as these represent areas with the highest quality scores based on momentum, volume, and candle geometry.
- Liquidity Awareness: Monitor Liquidity Sweeps (⚡) and Equal Highs/Lows (EQH/EQL) to identify where institutional "stop hunts" are likely to occur or have already taken place. These areas often serve as precursors to reversals or magnets for future price action.
- Confluence Scoring: The dashboard displays a real-time SMC Score (0-100). Traders should prioritize "S-Tier" signals (score ≥ 70) which indicate maximum alignment across structure, volume, momentum, and liquidity factors.
Details
The indicator utilizes several proprietary concepts to filter market noise and highlight institutional activity:
- Momentum Z-Score: Unlike standard structure tools, this engine requires breaks to be statistically significant relative to a 50-bar rolling mean of price changes.
- HPZ Scoring Algorithm: Order Blocks are scored dynamically from 0 to 100 based on the strength of the breakout move, volume percentile, candle body-to-wick ratio, and the zone's size relative to the Average True Range (ATR).
- Draw on Liquidity: The engine tracks unfilled Fair Value Gaps (FVG) and uses them as "magnets" in the confluence scoring, assuming price is naturally drawn to balance these inefficiencies.
- Dynamic Mitigation: Order Blocks and FVGs are managed in real-time. Once price touches an OB or fills an FVG, the indicator marks it as "mitigated," allowing users to toggle between viewing only active zones or historical data for backtesting.
Settings
Market Structure
- Pivot Lookback: The number of bars required on each side to confirm a swing high or low.
- MSB Momentum Z-Score: The threshold for statistical significance required to trigger a Market Structure Break.
- Detect Break of Market Structure (BMS): Enables detection of structural breaks based on candle body closures.
Order Blocks
- Max Active OBs: Limits the number of unmitigated zones displayed on the chart.
- Display Mode: "Historical" keeps mitigated zones visible (dimmed), while "Present" removes them instantly.
- HPZ Threshold Score (%): The minimum quality score required to classify an Order Block as a High Probability Zone.
Liquidity & Imbalance
- Min FVG Size: Filters out micro-gaps based on a factor of the ATR.
- Sweep Lookback: The window used to identify significant highs or lows for liquidity hunt detection.
- EQL Tolerance: Determines how close two pivots must be to be considered "Equal Highs/Lows."
Smart Money Confluence (SMC)
- Min SMC Score to Signal: The minimum score required for the indicator to print an entry label on the chart.
- Signal Cooldown: Prevents consecutive signals from appearing within a specific number of bars to reduce noise.
- Require Volume Confirmation: Filters signals based on whether volume is above its moving average.
FAQ
How can I identify the strongest trade setups? The strongest setups are indicated by "S-Tier" labels and a high Bull/Bear SMC Score on the dashboard. These occur when multiple factors, such as an HPZ Order Block, a Liquidity Sweep, and high volume, align simultaneously.
Why did a structural break not produce an Order Block? An Order Block is only identified if the engine can find the originating candle within the "OB Lookback" window. If the move was a slow grind rather than an impulsive break, an OB may not be generated.
