ICT Setup 03 Judas Swing NY 9:30am + CHoCH/FVG
Nov 13, 2024

The ICT Setup 03 Judas Swing NY 9:30am + CHoCH/FVG indicator identifies deceptive early-market price movements to help traders align with "smart money" reversals. It automates the detection of specific time-based high/low ranges, the Judas Swing fake-out, and subsequent trend shifts through CISD Level breaks, Order Blocks, and Fair Value Gaps (FVG).
Usage
This tool is designed to capture reversals following a trap. For example, in a Bullish Setup, the script first marks the high and low of the initial opening range. During the "Judas" phase, the price performs a "Fake Break" below the established low to grab liquidity. Once the price reverses and breaks the internal CISD Level, the script highlights demand Order Blocks and FVGs as potential entry zones for a long position.
The Bearish Setup follows the inverse logic: identifying an initial range, detecting a fake move above the range high, and waiting for a downward CISD break to highlight supply zones for short entries.
Details
The indicator relies on the ICT Judas Swing concept, which posits that major institutions drive price in one direction to mislead retail traders before moving the market in the true intended direction. The implementation handles two distinct market sessions:
- Forex: Uses the 8:15–8:30 AM (NY Time) window for the range and 8:30–8:45 AM for the Judas move.
- Stocks: Uses the 9:15–9:30 AM (NY Time) window for the range and 9:30–9:45 AM for the Judas move.
The script integrates specialized libraries for refined Order Block detection and FVG filtering to ensure only high-probability structural levels are displayed.

FAQ
How do I interpret the Judas Swing signal? Look for the "Fake Break" labels that occur outside the dotted range lines during the trading permit window. A successful reversal is confirmed when the price breaks the CISD level and returns to the highlighted OB or FVG zones.
Can I change the session times? Yes, while the defaults are optimized for ICT NY sessions, you can manually adjust the "Opening Range" and "Permit" sessions in the inputs.
