Ultimate Screener Template
Mar 31, 2021

The Ultimate Screener Template indicator provides a comprehensive framework for scanning up to 38 different securities simultaneously within a single chart instance.
Usage
The Ultimate Screener Template is designed for traders who need to monitor multiple assets for specific technical conditions—in this case, reaching new All-Time Highs (ATH) or All-Time Lows (ATL). By consolidating multiple symbols into one script, it allows users to receive alerts for any of the 38 tracked assets using only a single TradingView alert slot.
To use the template:
- Add the indicator to your chart.
- Open the settings to define the 38 tickers you wish to monitor.
- If you need to scan more than 38 assets, simply add a second or third instance of the indicator to the same chart and update the ticker list for each.
- Set a single alert on the indicator to be notified whenever any asset in the list meets the criteria.
Details
This tool utilizes the request.security() function to fetch monthly data for various assets and calculate their historical peaks and troughs. The core logic identifies when a price crosses above its previous ATH or below its ATL.
The script is built as a "template," meaning the underlying logic (currently ATH/ATL) can be swapped by developers to screen for other conditions like RSI overbought levels, MACD crossovers, or custom volume spikes. It effectively bypasses the native limitations of standard screeners by allowing deep customization of the filtering logic.
Settings
Alert
- Alerts Mode: Defines the frequency of alert triggers. Options include
alert.freq_all(triggers on every call),alert.freq_once_per_bar(triggers once when the condition is met during the bar), andalert.freq_once_per_bar_close(triggers only when the bar closes).
Securities
- Ticker 1 - 38: Input fields to specify the symbol and exchange for each asset you wish to monitor (e.g., BINANCE:BTCUSDT, NASDAQ:AAPL).
FAQ
How do I add more than 38 tickers?
You can add the indicator to your chart multiple times. Each instance supports 38 tickers, so two instances allow for 76 tickers, and three instances allow for over 100.
Can I change the screening logic to something other than ATH/ATL?
Yes, the script is provided as a template. Users with basic Pine Script knowledge can replace the ATH/ATL functions with any other indicator logic to screen for different signals.
How do I access Ultimate Screener Template?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
