The Intraday TS ,BB + Buy/Sell +Squeeze Mom.+ adx-dmi indicator provides an all-in-one technical analysis suite designed for intraday trading that combines volatility bands, momentum oscillators, and trend strength filters to identify precise entry and exit points.

Usage

The Usage section describes how the script can be used, examples should be provided in this section. This section also focuses on how main settings affect the indicator interpretation and output.

The indicator is primarily designed for timeframes of 5 minutes or higher. It generates trade setups based on price action relative to Bollinger Bands and filters these signals using Squeeze Momentum and ADX/DMI data.

  • Entry Signals: Upward arrows indicate potential long entries, while downward arrows indicate potential short entries. These appear when the price breaks out of specific volatility thresholds.
  • Exit Targets: The script automatically plots Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) levels. Circles on the chart represent TP1 (1:1 ratio), TP2 (1:2 ratio), and the protective stop level.
  • Trend Filtering: Triangles and diamonds represent ADX-DMI status. A green triangle suggests a strong uptrend, a red triangle suggests a strong downtrend, and a diamond indicates a stalling market or low volatility.
  • Momentum Context: The center line of the Bollinger Bands changes color and style based on "Squeeze" conditions. A cross shape indicates the market is in a squeeze (low volatility), while the line color reflects the linear regression slope of momentum.

Details

The script integrates several classic trading concepts into a single overlay:

  1. Bollinger Band Breakouts: It identifies "Bollinger Bars" where the low is above the upper band or the high is below the lower band to signal extreme moves.
  2. Squeeze Momentum: Based on the relationship between Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channels, it detects periods of volatility compression and subsequent expansion.
  3. ADX-DMI Logic: It utilizes a Directional Movement Index to ensure trades are taken in the direction of the prevailing trend strength. ADX values above 29 are treated as trending, while values below 20 signal a range-bound environment.
  4. Automated Risk Management: The tool calculates risk-to-reward levels dynamically based on the volatility (BB width) at the time of the signal.

FAQ

How do I interpret the colored bars? The bar colors change to reflect the trade state; for example, they may turn blue during neutral volatility and change to red or shaded variations when price enters a projected profit or loss zone relative to a signal.

What does the cross icon on the midline mean? The cross icon indicates a "Squeeze" condition, meaning Bollinger Bands are currently inside the Keltner Channels, suggesting a period of low volatility often followed by a significant price expansion.
