Multi-timeframe Trend & Momentum Dashboard
Apr 2, 2025

The Multi-timeframe Trend & Momentum Dashboard indicator provides a comprehensive multi-timeframe analysis tool that aggregates trend direction, trend duration, and momentum data into a single on-chart table.
Usage
The indicator is used to monitor market conditions across up to nine different timeframes simultaneously. Traders can use the dashboard to identify confluence between short-term and long-term trends.
- Trend Identification: The dashboard displays whether a timeframe is Bullish, Bearish, or Neutral based on moving average crossovers.
- Duration Tracking: Next to each timeframe, the "Dur" value indicates how many bars the current trend has persisted, helping to identify mature or fresh trends.
- Momentum & Divergence: The RSI column provides momentum readings. If the RSI color conflicts with the trend (e.g., a bearish trend with an RSI above 50), the cell flashes yellow to signal a potential divergence or reversal.
- Visual Signals: On the current chart timeframe, "Bullish" or "Bearish" labels appear automatically when a trend change is detected.
Details
The script determines trends by comparing a fast Moving Average (EMA or SMA) against a slow Moving Average (EMA or SMA). When the fast MA is above the slow MA, the trend is classified as bullish; conversely, it is bearish when the fast MA is below the slow MA.
The dashboard also calculates an "Average" trend at the bottom of the table, which represents the aggregate sentiment across all selected timeframes. Data for different timeframes is fetched using request.security, ensuring that the analysis remains consistent regardless of the chart's current resolution.
