Sector Rotation & Money Flow Dashboard
Aug 16, 2025

The Sector Rotation & Money Flow Dashboard indicator provides a comprehensive market analysis environment that tracks 39 major sector ETFs in real-time to identify institutional-grade capital rotation and momentum shifts. This tool aims to help traders recognize which market segments are attracting capital, allowing for precise entry into strong trends while avoiding weakening sectors.
Usage
The dashboard is designed for multi-timeframe market regime recognition and sector picking. By observing the visual output, traders can determine if the market is in a broad bull phase (widespread "IN" flows), a bear phase ("OUT" flows), or a rotation phase where specific sectors begin to outperform.
- Swing Trading: Filter the dashboard for "Swing Trade" presets and sort by "Acceleration" to find sectors where momentum is rapidly increasing.
- Trend Following: Use the "Trend Follow" filter to locate sectors with established positive performance across 1M and 3M periods and positive relative strength (RS).
- Mean Reversion: Identify oversold bounce candidates by sorting by "Recovery Plays" or "Oversold Bounce" to find sectors showing the first signs of improvement after deep declines.
- Risk Management: Monitor the "Risk Off" filter and "Worst Acc (Topping)" sort to identify when existing holdings are losing momentum or showing warning signs.
Details
The indicator calculates proprietary metrics to provide a deeper view of market behavior:
- Momentum Score: A weighted composite calculation that emphasizes recent price action to determine the current strength of a sector.
- Acceleration: This represents the second derivative of price movement, measuring the rate at which momentum is increasing or decreasing.
- Money Flow Signals: Logic-based indicators (IN, TURN, WATCH, OUT) that categorize the current state of institutional interest.
- Relative Strength (RS): Compares every tracked ETF against a user-defined benchmark (e.g., SPY) to identify true alpha-generating sectors.
