Bank Nifty Scalping
Jun 27, 2023

The Bank Nifty Scalping indicator provides a comprehensive toolkit designed for short-term traders to identify momentum shifts, trends, and key pivot levels across multiple technical frameworks.
Usage
The tool can be used to identify market direction and potential reversal points through various layers:
- Trend Identification: Use the Multiple EMAs (20, 50, 100, 200) and SuperTrends to confirm the primary and secondary trend direction.
- Momentum Analysis: The Elder Impulse System colors bars to show momentum alignment. Green bars suggest strong upward inertia, red bars suggest downward inertia, and blue bars indicate a neutral state.
- Level Trading: Use Camarilla (L3/L4 and H3/H4) and CPR (Central Pivot Range) levels as significant support and resistance areas where price is likely to react or reverse.
- Volume Confirmation: The "Strong Volume" feature highlights when current volume exceeds a user-defined threshold, providing validation for price breakouts.
Details
This script integrates several classic technical analysis concepts:
- Elder Impulse System: Combines the slope of a 13-period EMA with the MACD histogram slope to filter trades and spot trend exhaustion.
- Camarilla & CPR: These pivot systems calculate levels based on previous session data (High, Low, Close) to establish intraday frameworks for volatility.
- VWMA & VWAP: Volume-weighted metrics are included to provide a more accurate representation of the "average" price based on where the most trading activity occurred.
