HTF CISD Detector 2.7
May 19, 2026

The HTF CISD Detector 2.7 indicator monitors and identifies Change in State of Delivery (CISD) signals using institutional trading logic across automated higher timeframes. It provides traders with automated entry and exit zones based on Smart Money Concepts (SMC) by detecting when a high-timeframe order block is violated on the current chart resolution.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify trend shifts and potential trade setups. The indicator automatically scales its analysis based on your current chart: M5 charts will look at H1 data, H1 charts will look at H4 data, and H4 charts will look at D1 data.
The primary signal occurs when a candle closes beyond the opening price of a Higher Timeframe (HTF) Order Block (the last bearish candle before a bullish move, or vice-versa). This close signals a Change in State of Delivery.
- Bullish CISD: Occurs when the price closes above the opening price of a bearish HTF Order Block.
- Bearish CISD: Occurs when the price closes below the opening price of a bullish HTF Order Block.
- Risk Management: The tool automatically plots Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) boxes. The SL is determined by a swing-point lookback, while the TP is calculated based on a user-defined Risk:Reward ratio.
- Filtering: Users can filter out signals based on the minimum size of the HTF Order Block candle to ensure only significant structural shifts are highlighted.
Details
The script executes by requesting data from a higher timeframe via the request.security function. It identifies Order Block "candidates" on the HTF and stores them. Once the current timeframe price closes past the opening level of these candidates, a CISD is confirmed.
The swing detection algorithm for the Stop Loss searches for recent pivot points (highs/lows) within a specific lookback window. This ensures the SL is placed behind structural protection rather than at an arbitrary point. The script also includes a clean-up logic that removes active trade boxes once the price reaches the projected SL or TP levels to maintain chart clarity.
Settings
CISD HTF 1
- Alcistas / Bajistas: Toggles the visibility of bullish and bearish CISD signals independently.
- Extensión líneas: Determines how far horizontal CISD level lines extend across the chart.
- Máx CISDs visibles: Limits the number of simultaneous signals displayed to prevent chart clutter.
- Solo primer CISD activo: When enabled, the script will only show the first active signal per direction until it is resolved.
- Mostrar cajas / Etiquetas: Toggles the visibility of the SL/TP visual boxes and their associated data labels.
- Auto-eliminar al SL: Automatically removes the trade boxes from the chart if the price hits the Stop Loss level.
- RR: Sets the Risk:Reward ratio used to calculate the Take Profit target.
Filtros HTF 1
- Tamaño mínimo vela OB: Sets a threshold for the HTF candle size; smaller, insignificant candles will not trigger a CISD.
- Lookback SL: The number of bars the script looks back to find a valid swing point for the Stop Loss.
- Swing mínimo/máximo: The strength (number of bars on each side) required to identify a valid pivot point for SL placement.
FAQ
How does the auto-timeframe selection work? The script uses a lookup table based on your current chart. For example, if you are on a 1-minute to 5-minute chart, it will automatically pull data from the 1-hour timeframe to find institutional order blocks.
Can I use this for any asset? While designed for liquid markets like NQ/ES futures, Forex majors, and high-cap Crypto, it can be applied to any asset where Smart Money Concepts and Order Block theory are applicable.
