The Multi Timeframe Supply & Demand Zones indicator identifies and plots key institutional areas of supply and demand across two independent timeframes to assist in multi-timeframe market analysis.

Usage

This tool can be used to identify potential reversal or continuation zones. By plotting two different timeframes simultaneously, traders can look for "confluence," where supply or demand zones from a higher timeframe overlap with those of a lower timeframe.

The indicator allows you to define the "Swing Length," which determines the sensitivity of the zone detection. A higher swing length will result in larger, more significant zones, while a lower value identifies more frequent, minor structure. Traders can also toggle between "High/Low" or "Close" prices for zone mitigation. If set to High/Low, a zone is considered mitigated (removed) when price pierces the zone's extreme; if set to Close, the zone remains until a candle closes past it.

Details

The script calculates supply and demand based on swing points identified by the user-defined swing length. When a market structure shift occurs, the script identifies the origin of the move as a potential zone.

  • Timeframe Flexibility: You can set the timeframes to "Chart," which automatically syncs with your current view, or manually input a specific period (e.g., 1 Hour, 1 Day).
  • Lower Timeframe Logic: A specific toggle allows you to prevent lower timeframe structures from displaying on higher timeframe charts to maintain visual clarity and prevent inaccurate perception of market structure.
  • Mitigation: The indicator tracks price action in real-time to remove zones that have already been tested or breached based on your chosen mitigation settings.

Settings

General Settings

  • Hide all demand zones: Globally removes all demand (bullish) boxes from the chart.
  • Hide all supply zones: Globally removes all supply (bearish) boxes from the chart.
  • Show Supply and Demand only on Lower Timeframes: Prevents lower-tier timeframe data from appearing when you switch to a higher-tier chart.

Timeframe Settings (TF1 & TF2)

  • Set Timeframe to Chart: Overrides manual timeframe inputs to match the current chart.
  • Use High/Low to mitigates zones: When enabled, any price touch of the zone boundary removes it. When disabled, a candle close is required.
  • Show Demand/Supply: Individual toggles for each zone type per timeframe.
  • Swing Length: Controls the sensitivity of the pivot detection used to create zones.
  • Show last (Demand/Supply): Limits the number of active zones displayed on the chart to avoid clutter.
  • Visuals: Options to customize border type (Solid, Dashed, Dotted), colors, and text sizes for each timeframe.

FAQ

How do I adjust the sensitivity of the zones? You can adjust the "Swing Length" in the settings. A smaller number detects more frequent, smaller zones, while a larger number focuses on major swing points.

Can I see zones from a Daily chart while I am on a 15-minute chart? Yes, by configuring one of the timeframe inputs to "Day," the indicator will project those higher-timeframe zones onto your current lower-timeframe chart.
