The Confluence Order Blocks indicator automatically identifies and validates high-probability, non-repainting order blocks using a multi-timeframe engine to provide objective areas of interest. By scanning three independent higher timeframes simultaneously, the tool identifies price levels where institutional activity overlaps, filtering out noise and focusing on structural quality.

Usage

The indicator can be used to identify key supply and demand zones backed by multi-timeframe alignment. Users should look for "Confluence Zones" where the confluence count and strength rating are high.

  • Multi-Timeframe Confirmation: Each zone displays a label indicating how many timeframes (out of 3) confirm the order block.
  • Strength Rating: A composite score (0-10) is calculated based on displacement, session of formation, and zone geometry.
  • Zone Normalization: When enabled, the script forces all zones to a uniform height based on ATR or a fixed percentage, ensuring a clean chart layout.
  • Proximity Merging: The script uses an ATR-based proximity tolerance to merge order blocks from different timeframes into a single consolidated zone.

Details

The script employs a stateless detection algorithm, ensuring that zones remain consistent regardless of the chart timeframe being viewed. Unlike standard order block tools that simply mark the last candle before a swing, this engine validates zones based on "displacement"—a powerful move away from the candle that must exceed a user-defined multiple of the zone's range. This ensures that only blocks demonstrating significant market-moving intent are considered.

Settings

  • Universal Zone Settings: Options to normalize zone heights using ATR-based or fixed percentage methods.
  • Order Block Detection: Controls for swing length, lookback period, and the displacement multiplier required for validation.
  • Multi-Timeframe Confluence: Selectable timeframes (TF1, TF2, TF3), the minimum required confluence threshold, and proximity tolerance for merging zones.
  • Strength Rating: Toggle for the strength calculation and a minimum filter to hide low-quality zones.
  • Visualization: Options to toggle bullish/bearish zones, adjust colors, and configure extended info labels.

FAQ

How do I interpret the Strength Rating?

The Strength Rating is a data-driven score out of 10. A higher score (e.g., 8.0+) suggests a more significant structural area, as it accounts for the magnitude of price displacement and the market session in which the block was formed.

What does the "Pips Away" metric mean?

The info label calculates the distance from the current price to the midpoint of the confluence zone. This assists in precise trade planning and limit order placement.
