The Asian Breakout AutoBot (NASDAQ, S&P 500, Gold) indicator provides an automated framework for trading session-based momentum and liquidity breakouts specifically tailored for the futures and indices markets.

Usage

The script is used to identify and trade price breakouts from the Asian session consolidation range. During the specified Asian session time, the indicator calculates the session high and low, forming a visual "box."

  • Long Entry: Triggered when the price closes above the Asian session high during the London (UK) or US trading sessions.
  • Short Entry: Triggered when the price closes below the Asian session low during the London (UK) or US trading sessions.
  • Visual Signals: When a trade is active, the script plots dynamic lines for the entry price, stop loss (the opposite side of the range), and take profit (based on a user-defined Risk/Reward ratio).
  • Automatic Exit: To avoid overnight margin risks, the strategy includes an end-of-day (EOD) logic that closes all open positions at the conclusion of the US session.

Details

The strategy relies on the concept that the Asian session often represents a period of lower volume and consolidation. The subsequent London and New York opens typically introduce the liquidity necessary to drive a sustained trend.

The breakout logic uses the full range of the Asian session as a volatility gauge. The Stop Loss is anchored to the opposite side of the range, while the Take Profit is calculated by multiplying the range size by the Risk/Reward Target input. This ensures that the profit target is proportional to the established market volatility of that specific day.
