Targets For Many Indicators

Targets For Many Indicators turns any relationship between two series into managed price targets on the chart. Choose from more than thirty built-in sources — moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Supertrend, VWAP and more — or wire in external indicators, define the condition linking Source A and Source B, and the tool projects a target at your chosen distance every time it fires.

How to Trade the Targets For Many Indicators?

  • Condition fires: when Source A and Source B satisfy your rule (CrossOver, CrossUnder, Cross, or Equal), a target prints at the configured distance from price.
  • Long Position Target: enabled, targets sit above the current price; disabled, they project below it.
  • New Target When Reached: generates a fresh target automatically each time one is hit, keeping levels flowing without manual resets.
  • Wait Until Reached: holds back new targets until the active one resolves, favoring fewer, longer-horizon levels.
  • Dashboard: the panel at the top right tracks target counts and reach rate.

Because targets are horizontal levels, they can also double as reference support or resistance.

Targets For Many Indicators Settings

  • Source A / Source B: the two series compared, built-in or external; multi-input indicators take comma-separated values, with red guidance text flagging malformed entries.
  • New Target Condition: CrossOver, CrossUnder, Cross, or Equal.
  • Target Distance from Price: expressed in currencies, points, percentages, ATR multiples, or ticks.
  • Evaluate Wicks: judge target hits using high/low prices instead of closes.
  • Show Target Labels and Candle Coloring: label targets on the chart and tint candles by the latest activation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which indicators can drive targets?

The built-in list spans trend, momentum, and volume: ATR, Bollinger Bands, CCI, Donchian Channels, EMA, MACD, MFI, OBV, RSI, Stochastic, Supertrend, VWAP, Williams %R and more. Anything missing can be supplied as an external source.

What does the reach rate actually tell me?

It is the share of generated targets that price went on to hit under your condition and distance. A low reach rate is a prompt to tighten the distance or strengthen the condition, while a high one suggests the current pairing is realistically placed.

How do I get it, and is there a simpler variant?

The tool is free in the LuxAlgo Library and can be run and backtested from this page in Quant, LuxAlgo's AI. If you only need targets when price crosses an on-chart overlay, Targets For Overlay Indicators is the streamlined sibling.
