The Liquidity Zones Alerts indicator identifies institutional liquidity sweeps and high-probability reversal zones by analyzing market structure, volume, and volatility. It aims to provide traders with visual confirmation of stop hunts and engineered liquidity moves using a combination of Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and candle patterns.

Usage

The Usage section explains how to interpret the signals generated by the tool. The indicator primarily looks for "Liquidity Sweeps," which occur when the price moves beyond previous daily or weekly highs or lows before reversing.

  • Long Signals (Green Triangle): These appear when the price sweeps liquidity below a previous low and provides confirmation through volume and price action (like a bullish engulfing candle) within a discount zone.
  • Short Signals (Red Triangle): These appear when the price sweeps liquidity above a previous high and confirms with high volume or bearish price action within a premium zone.
  • Flash Crashes: Small blue circles at the bottom of the chart indicate high-range candles with significant volume, often signaling exhaustive moves that precede a reversal.

Traders can adjust the "Filter Preset" to determine the strictness of the signal logic, ranging from "Low" (fewer filters) to "High" (requires multi-timeframe confirmation and specific Fibonacci levels).

Details

This tool implements several advanced filters to ensure signal quality:

  • Premium/Discount Logic: Longs are only considered in the lower half of the 20-period range, while shorts are only considered in the upper half.
  • Volume Filter: Signals require above-average volume to ensure there is institutional interest behind the move.
  • Engulfing Confirmation: The script can require standard or Higher Timeframe (HTF) engulfing candles to validate a reversal.
  • Breaker Block & BoS: Optional filters allow users to require a reaction from a breaker zone or a Break of Structure (BoS) before a signal triggers.

Settings

Core Filters

  • Filter Preset: Choose between Custom, Low, Medium, or High to automatically set the strictness of signal conditions.
  • Show Raw Signals: When enabled, the indicator ignores all filters and shows every liquidity sweep regardless of volume or trend.
  • Show Daily/Weekly Liquidity Zones: Toggles the visibility of the previous day/week high and low levels.

Confirmation Logic

  • Filter by Above-Average Volume: Ensures the signal candle has more volume than the 20-period average.
  • Require Engulfing Confirmation: Filters for bullish/bearish engulfing patterns.
  • Require FIB Level: Filters signals based on their position relative to the 0.5 or 0.618 Fibonacci retracement levels.
  • HTF Trend Timeframe: Sets the timeframe used to determine the overall market bias.

Visuals

  • Highlight Flash Crashes: Displays a marker when high-volatility spikes occur.
  • Liquidity Offset (%): Adjusts the sensitivity of what constitutes a "sweep" beyond the high/low levels.

FAQ

How do I access Liquidity Zones Alerts?

You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.

What is the difference between the Filter Presets?

The "High" preset requires the most confirmation, including HTF trend alignment, BoS, and specific Fibonacci levels, resulting in fewer but potentially higher-quality signals. "Low" provides more frequent signals with fewer restrictions.

Can I use this for scalping?

Yes, the indicator is multi-timeframe friendly. For scalping, users often use the Daily liquidity zones on lower timeframes (1m-15m), while swing traders may prefer Weekly zones on higher timeframes (1H-4H).
