ICT Times
Nov 17, 2023

The ICT Times indicator provides a comprehensive visual framework for Inner Circle Trader (ICT) concepts, including Killzones, Silver Bullet times, and ICT Macros, helping traders identify high-probability time windows where price seeks liquidity or imbalances.
Usage
The Usage section describes how the script can be used to identify key trading sessions. Users can apply the indicator to their charts to see automatically plotted boxes representing specific time windows based on the asset class being traded.
For Forex pairs, the indicator highlights:
- Asia Killzone: 20:00 - 00:00
- London Killzone: 02:00 - 05:00
- New York Killzone: 07:00 - 10:00
- London Close Killzone: 10:00 - 12:00
For non-Forex assets (such as Indices), it highlights:
- Asia: 20:00 - 00:00
- London: 02:00 - 05:00
- New York AM: 08:30 - 11:00
- New York PM: 13:30 - 16:00
Additionally, the indicator plots Silver Bullet times (03:00-04:00, 10:00-11:00, 14:00-15:00) and various ICT Macros throughout the day. These periods often coincide with significant price expansions or turning points.
Details
The script is designed to automatically adapt its Killzone logic based on the symbol type. It uses the syminfo.type and syminfo.prefix to distinguish between Forex and Indices, ensuring the correct ICT session times are applied. All times are calculated using the "America/New_York" timezone to maintain consistency with ICT methodology regardless of the user's local chart settings. The indicator also features built-in alerts that trigger at the start of each Macro, Silver Bullet, or Killzone period.
Settings
- Max Boxes Count: (Internal setting) Controls the maximum number of boxes displayed on the chart to maintain performance.
- Symbol Detection: The indicator automatically detects if the asset is Forex or an Index to adjust the Killzone timings accordingly.
