The RSI Elite Toolkit indicator provides a structured momentum analysis framework that expands the traditional Relative Strength Index by integrating smoothing logic, divergence detection, trend alignment, and score-based confluence filtering. It aims to assist traders in observing momentum shifts through a rule-based system that evaluates multiple analytical layers simultaneously.

Usage

The toolkit is used as a comprehensive momentum analysis system where signals are generated based on the alignment of multiple factors. Traders can use the core RSI engine to identify overbought or oversold conditions, while the integrated divergence engine highlights potential reversals between price action and momentum.

By enabling the Confluence Engine, users can filter signals so they only appear when a specific cumulative score is reached (e.g., combining an RSI extreme reaction with a Trend Bias alignment). The Risk / Reward Framework provides visual ATR-based projections for potential stop-loss and take-profit zones, helping with trade planning and scenario mapping.

Details

The script is built with a non-repainting architecture, utilizing lookahead_off for all multi-timeframe calculations to ensure historical consistency. It employs a weighted scoring model to assign points to different market events:

  • RSI Extreme Rejection: 2 Points
  • RSI/MA Cross: 1 Point
  • Divergence Detection: 3 Points
  • Trend Bias (200 EMA): 1 Point

Settings

RSI Core Settings

  • RSI Source: Determines the price data used for calculation (Close, Open, HL2, etc.).
  • RSI Period: The lookback period for the RSI calculation.
  • Enable MTF Analysis: Allows viewing RSI data from a higher timeframe.
  • Higher Timeframe: Specifies the timeframe for MTF analysis.

RSI Signal Smoothing

  • Display RSI Smoothing MA: Toggles the moving average overlay on the RSI line.
  • Smoothing Type: Choose between SMA, EMA, WMA, or RMA.
  • Smoothing Period: The lookback length for the smoothing average.

Divergence Intelligence

  • Analyze Divergences: Enables detection of regular bullish and bearish divergences.
  • Pivot Lookback: Controls the sensitivity of the pivot points used for divergence.

Confluence & Risk

  • Minimum Confluence Score: The threshold required for a signal to be displayed.
  • Visualize SL/TP Zones: Enables dynamic ATR-based volatility zones on the chart.
  • SL/TP Multiplier: Adjusts the distance of the risk/reward projections.

FAQ

How do I interpret the Confluence Score?

The score is the sum of points from various technical conditions; a higher score indicates that more momentum factors are aligning at the same time.

Why are some signals offset on the chart?

If the "Entry Strategy" is set to "Divergences," signals are offset to the right because the pivot-based logic requires confirmation bars before a divergence is officially detected.
