The RSI MTF Table indicator provides a multi-timeframe overview of Relative Strength Index (RSI) values within a clean, horizontal table layout. It is designed to help traders quickly assess momentum across different resolutions without switching chart views, offering a centralized dashboard for intraday and swing trading analysis.

Usage

The indicator displays a table in the bottom-left corner of the screen containing RSI values for seven different user-defined timeframes. Traders can use this to identify confluence across multiple resolutions; for example, if all timeframes show RSI values in bullish territory, it indicates strong overall momentum.

The table cells are color-coded based on the RSI value:

  • Bullish: Shades of green represent values above 55, with more intense colors appearing as the RSI approaches 75 and above.
  • Bearish: Shades of red represent values below 45, with more intense colors appearing as the RSI approaches 25 and below.
  • Neutral: Values between 45 and 55 are displayed with a neutral background.

Details

This tool calculates the standard RSI using a Relative Moving Average (RMA) of price changes. It leverages the request.security function to fetch data from different timeframes simultaneously. The table is updated on the last bar of the chart to ensure optimal performance.

The logic follows a tiered coloring system:

  • Overbought/Strong Bullish: RSI >= 75
  • Bullish: 65 <= RSI < 75
  • Mild Bullish: 55 <= RSI < 65
  • Neutral: 45 <= RSI < 55
  • Mild Bearish: 35 < RSI <= 45
  • Bearish: 25 < RSI <= 35
  • Oversold/Strong Bearish: RSI <= 25
