InfoPanel Divergence Indicator

The InfoPanel Divergence Indicator tool provides a consolidated view of potential trend reversals by identifying divergences across multiple technical oscillators simultaneously.

Usage

The tool monitors six popular indicators for both regular (Normal) and hidden divergences: RSI, Stochastic, Stochastic RSI, CCI, Bollinger Bands %B, and MACD. When a divergence is detected, a shape is plotted directly on the chart (below the bar for bullish signals and above for bearish signals) with a label indicating which specific oscillator triggered the signal.

Additionally, an information panel is displayed on the chart to provide a real-time summary of the current divergence status for every supported indicator. This allows traders to quickly identify "confluence," where multiple indicators signal a divergence at the same time, potentially increasing the reliability of the setup.

Details

The indicator calculates two types of divergences:

• Normal Divergence (ND): Suggests a possible trend reversal.
• Hidden Divergence (HD): Suggests a possible trend continuation.

The panel uses the following notation:

• ND ▲ / HD ▲: Bullish Normal or Hidden Divergence.
• ND ▼ / HD ▼: Bearish Normal or Hidden Divergence.
• -: No active divergence detected.

The script is optimized for performance and includes built-in alert functionality that triggers whenever any of the selected oscillators detect a bullish or bearish divergence on a bar close.

Settings

• X Offset / Y Offset: Adjusts the horizontal and vertical position of the information panel relative to the current price action.
• Background Color: Sets the panel background to Black or White to match your chart theme.
• RSI Length: Sets the period for the Relative Strength Index calculation.
• Stochastic Settings: Configure K, D, and Smoothing periods for the Stochastic oscillator.
• Stochastic RSI Settings: Adjust the RSI and Stochastic lengths used for the Stoch RSI calculation.
• CCI Length: Sets the period for the Commodity Channel Index.
• Bollinger B% Settings: Adjust the multiplier and length for the Bollinger Bands calculation.
• MACD Settings: Comprehensive inputs for Fast/Slow lengths, Signal smoothing, and the option to use Simple Moving Averages instead of EMAs.
