Enhanced Parabolic SAR + EMA 200 + MACD Signals
Jun 30, 2023

The Enhanced Parabolic SAR + EMA 200 + MACD Signals indicator provides a comprehensive trend-following framework by combining trend direction, momentum, and price reversal points to generate confluence-based trading signals.
Usage
The tool is designed to filter signals based on the long-term trend while using momentum and price action for timing.
- Buy Conditions: A "Buy" label appears when price is trading above the 200 EMA (bullish regime), the Parabolic SAR dots move below the price (upward trend), and the MACD line crosses above the signal line (positive momentum).
- Sell Conditions: A "Sell" label appears when price is trading below the 200 EMA (bearish regime), the Parabolic SAR dots move above the price (downward trend), and the MACD line crosses below the signal line (negative momentum).
Traders can use the 200 EMA as a primary filter to avoid trading against the major trend, while the Parabolic SAR and MACD act as confirmation for entries.
Details
This script integrates three distinct technical analysis methodologies:
- Parabolic SAR (Stop and Reverse): Used to identify potential reversals and provide a trailing stop-loss reference.
- EMA 200: Serves as a long-term trend baseline. Signals are only valid if price action aligns with the side of the EMA.
- MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence): Measures momentum shifts. The script specifically looks for crossovers between the MACD and the Signal line (the MACD delta) to confirm entries.
