The Simple and Profitable Scalping Strategy (ForexSignals TV) tool is a specialized trend-following strategy designed to identify high-probability entries during pullbacks within a fanned EMA structure on multiple timeframes. By combining higher timeframe trend filtering with precise EMA-based entry criteria, it aims to capture scalping opportunities in the direction of the broader market trend.

Usage

The strategy operates on two timeframes: a higher timeframe (HTF) for trend direction and the current timeframe for trade execution.

  • Long Entry: Triggered when the HTF Fast EMA is above the HTF Slow EMA and price is above the Fast EMA. On the execution chart, three EMAs (Fast, Medium, Slow) must be fanned out upward. The trade is initiated when a candle pulls back into the EMA lines and subsequently breaks the high of the recent lookback period.
  • Short Entry: Triggered when the HTF Fast EMA is below the HTF Slow EMA and price is below the Fast EMA. On the execution chart, the EMAs must be fanned out downward. Entry occurs after a pullback to the EMAs followed by a breakout of the recent low.
  • Risk Management: Users can configure the risk per trade as a percentage of the account equity. The strategy uses a Stop Order for entry, placing the Stop Loss (SL) near recent swing points and calculating the Take Profit (TP) based on a user-defined Risk-to-Reward (R:R) ratio.

Details

This strategy is based on concepts popularized by the ForexSignals TV YouTube channel. It relies on the "EMA Fanout" concept, which ensures that momentum is strong before looking for a pullback entry. The inclusion of an HTF filter prevents trading against the primary trend. The script also includes advanced visual features, such as TP/SL boxes and exit labels, to facilitate backtesting analysis.
