The Dynamic Support and Resistance with Trend Lines indicator is a comprehensive market structure analysis tool that combines volume-based static zones with adaptive trend channels to evaluate price positioning. By integrating a "Smart Matrix Engine," it provides a multidimensional view of whether the price is interacting with historical volume extremes or dynamic trend corridors.

Usage

The indicator provides a visual dashboard and on-chart zones to help identify high-probability trading environments. Users can interpret the market through two primary lenses:

Static Volume Zones

These zones represent areas of significant trader participation.

  • Strategy A (Matrix Climax): Highlights areas where price extremes coincide with high volume using a time-decayed ranking system.
  • Strategy B (Volume Extremes): Detects candles with the absolute highest volume within the lookback window to create stable support and resistance "floors" and "ceilings."

Dynamic Trend Lines

  • Pivot Span: A reactive trend corridor that connects recent significant pivots to identify immediate trend direction.
  • 5-Point Channel: Utilizes linear regression across five segments of the lookback period to provide a statistically significant trend channel.

The Smart Matrix Engine

The dashboard displays a 5x5 grid (25 scenarios) crossing the Static State (S1-S5) with the Dynamic State (D1-D5).

  • S-State: Measures price relative to volume zones (e.g., S1 = Breakout, S5 = Breakdown).
  • D-State: Measures price relative to trend channels (e.g., D1 = Overextended Up, D5 = Overextended Down).
  • Actionable Signals: Each intersection provides a specific bias (e.g., "Iron Floor" for double support or "Hyper Extension" for exhaustion risks).

Details

The script employs advanced volume calculation methodologies to ensure precision:

  • Geometry Mode: Estimates buy/sell volume based on price action relative to the candle range, suitable for all account types.
  • Intrabar (Precise) Mode: For users with access to lower-timeframe data, this mode analyzes historical 15-second data to calculate exact volume deltas.
  • Time Decay: A mathematical decay factor is applied to older zones, ensuring that recent price action carries more weight in the Matrix calculations.

Settings

General Configuration

  • Calculation Method: Select between "Geometry" for standard use or "Intrabar" for high-precision volume analysis.
  • Dynamic Zone Sensitivity: Adjusts the tolerance buffer around trend lines using ATR.
  • Core Lookback Length: Sets the global window for S/R and Matrix calculations.

Trend Line Settings

  • Pivot Span/5-Point Channel: Toggle specific trend models on/off and customize colors, widths, and projection lengths.
  • Pivot Left/Right: Sets the strength and confirmation delay for pivot detection.

Smart Alert System

  • Enable Smart Alerts: Triggers notifications when the "Confidence %" threshold is met.
  • Alert Mode: Choose to alert on all high-confidence setups or specific matrix scenarios (e.g., S1/D3).

Visual Interface

  • Language Settings: Supports English, Turkish, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Persian, and Hebrew.
  • UI Theme: Switch between Dark and Light modes for better visibility.
  • Volume Profile Mini-Map: Optional toggle to see a vertical volume distribution on the right side of the chart.

FAQ

How do I interpret the Matrix Map? The map shows where the current price sits relative to both static volume zones (rows) and dynamic channels (columns). A dot marks the current state, providing a specific bias like "Strong Bullish" or "Rejection Risk."

Why are some zones dashed? Dashed lines represent projections into the future based on the "Global Projection Bars" setting, helping you visualize where support or resistance may lie in upcoming sessions.
