ICT Levels and Sessions
Apr 10, 2026

The ICT Levels and Sessions indicator is an institutional level tracker that plots key ICT reference points, trading sessions with real-time high/low tracking, and sweep zone detection. This tool aims to provide a comprehensive view of market liquidity and institutional price action by consolidating multiple essential ICT concepts into a single interface.
Usage
The indicator can be used to identify areas of institutional interest and potential reversals. Use the daily, weekly, and monthly levels to find higher-timeframe points of interest (POIs). The session trackers allow you to monitor price action relative to the Asia, London, and New York sessions.
Examples:
- Smart Merging: When levels such as the Previous Day High (PDH) and Previous Week High (PWH) overlap, the indicator automatically merges the labels (e.g., "PDH / PWH") to reduce chart noise. Adjust the "Merge Threshold %" in settings to control this behavior.
- Sweep Zones: Watch for price wicking above or below session extremes. The indicator highlights Buyside and Sellside sweeps, allowing you to identify potential fakeouts or liquidity runs before a reversal.
- NY Midnight Open: Use the ICT "True Daily Open" (00:00 New York) as a directional benchmark. Price above the Midnight Open is often considered in a premium, while price below is in a discount for that trading day.
Details
The script executes logic to fetch historical daily, weekly, and monthly data without repainting. It uses specific timezones for each session (Asia/Tokyo, London/London, NY/New York) to ensure accuracy regardless of your chart's local time setting. The "New Day Opening Gap" (NDOG) and its "Consequent Encroachment" (50% midline) are also included, providing deep insights into institutional gap behavior.

FAQ
How do I access the ICT Levels and Sessions? You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
Why don't I see the session boxes on my chart? Sessions are designed for intraday timeframes. If you are on a Daily or Weekly timeframe, the session boxes will be hidden to maintain chart clarity.
How does the smart merging work? If two levels (like a Daily High and a Weekly High) are within the user-defined percentage threshold, the script removes the redundant line and updates the label to include both acronyms.
