The Screener for 40+ instruments tool allows users to bypass standard symbol limits by stacking multiple table instances to monitor an unlimited number of assets simultaneously. It provides a modular framework for multi-symbol scanning, starting with a built-in Relative Strength Index (RSI) implementation to identify overbought and oversold conditions across dozens of markets.

Usage

To monitor more than 40 instruments, users should add the script to their chart multiple times. Each instance represents a "Screen" (e.g., Screen #1, Screen #2). By adjusting the "Screen #" setting and the "Column Width (%)", the tables will automatically align side-by-side from right to left, creating a seamless unified dashboard.

Example:

  1. Add the script and set "Screen #" to 1.
  2. Add the script again, set "Screen #" to 2, and input a different set of 40 symbols.
  3. Ensure both instances have the same "Column Width (%)" so the second table offsets correctly to the left of the first.

Details

The script utilizes the request.security function to fetch data for up to 40 symbols per instance. It calculates the RSI and identifies crossover/crossunder signals for each. To achieve the multi-column look, the script calculates a horizontal offset based on the scrNumb (Screen Number) and colWidth (Column Width) inputs. This allows for a scalable UI where each additional script instance populates a new column without overlapping existing ones.

FAQ

How do I add more than 40 symbols? Add the script to your chart multiple times. For each new instance, change the "Screen #" setting to a unique number (e.g., 1, 2, 3) and update the symbol list.

Why are the tables overlapping? Ensure that the "Column Width (%)" is consistent across all instances and that each instance has a unique "Screen #" assigned.
