DEMARSIV1 alerts and take profit
Dec 18, 2018

The DEMARSIV1 alerts and take profit indicator is a comprehensive momentum-based tool designed to identify trend reversals and potential exit points using a combination of DEMA (Double Exponential Moving Average) and RSI calculations. By integrating Multi-Timeframe (MTF) logic with automated take profit and stop loss levels, it provides traders with a systematic approach to trend following.
Usage
The indicator can be used to identify entry signals based on the crossover of fast and slow DEMA components applied to RSI values.
- Entry Signals: Long signals (B) and Short signals (S) appear when the fast DEMA crosses over or under the trend baseline.
- Take Profit (TP): When enabled, the script calculates a percentage-based target from the entry price. A "TP" label appears when price hits this threshold.
- Stop Loss (SL): Similar to the take profit feature, a percentage-based stop loss can be enabled to manage risk.
- Trend Backgrounds: The indicator highlights the chart background to indicate the current trend state (Blue for bullish, Red for bearish).
Details
The script utilizes a unique calculation for its RSI-based DEMA. It calculates a dynamic length based on the current timeframe to adapt to different market periodicities. The primary logic revolves around three key lines:
- v3: A smoothed baseline derived from the RSI and filtered through a DEMA calculation.
- emaFast: A fast-reacting DEMA of the RSI.
- emaSlow: A slower-reacting DEMA of the RSI.
Crossovers between these lines define the momentum shifts. Specifically, the relationship between emaFast and v3 determines the primary trend condition, while emaFast vs emaSlow provides secondary "Buy/Sell" trigger points.
Settings
- Int 1 / Int 2: Parameters used to calculate the dynamic RSI length based on timeframe multipliers.
- Fast Length: The period for the fast DEMA calculation.
- Slow Length: The period for the slow DEMA calculation.
- Show Cross?: Toggles the background highlights for DEMA/v3 crossovers.
- Take Profit Long/Short: Toggles the automated take profit exit labels.
- Take Profit %: Sets the percentage distance for the take profit target.
- Stop Loss Long/Short: Toggles the automated stop loss exit labels.
- Stop Loss %: Sets the percentage distance for the stop loss level.
FAQ
How do I access DEMARSIV1 alerts and take profit?
You can get access on the LuxAlgo Library for charting platforms like TradingView, MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), and NinjaTrader for free.
What is the difference between the "B/S" labels and the triangle shapes?
The "B" and "S" labels represent the primary trend entry conditions based on the filtered DEMA-RSI crossover, while the smaller triangles represent raw crossovers between the fast and slow DEMA lengths.
Can I change the sensitivity of the signals?
Yes, by adjusting the Fast Length and Slow Length inputs, you can make the indicator more or less responsive to price movements. Increasing these values will typically result in fewer, more lagged signals.
