Pure Price Action Order & Breaker Blocks maps each order block — a zone where heavy accumulation or distribution preceded a strong move — and keeps watching after the level gives way: an invalidated block evolves into a breaker block, confirmed when price returns to mitigate it. Detection runs on pattern-based swing points with no predefined input lengths, so the zones follow structure rather than settings.

How to Trade the Pure Price Action Order & Breaker Blocks?

  • Fresh order blocks: potential support or resistance where significant orders accumulated after a strong move and consolidation.
  • Breaker confirmation: when price comes back to mitigate an invalidated block, the flipped zone frames retracement and continuation setups.
  • Historical Polarity Changes: optional labels replay past effective setups — most instructive in replay, and worth knowing they may repaint.

Swing detection is hierarchical: a short-term swing high is a peak surrounded by lower highs, its counterpart a trough surrounded by higher lows, and the intermediate and long-term ranks are refined layer by layer from those earlier detections.

Pure Price Action Order & Breaker Blocks Settings

  • Detection: the market structure rank used for swing point detection.
  • Show Last Bullish OB: how many recent bullish order/breaker blocks stay displayed.
  • Show Last Bearish OB: the bearish equivalent.
  • Use Candle Body: define zones from candle bodies rather than full candle ranges.
  • Show Historical Polarity Changes: toggles the retrospective setup labels.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does an order block become a breaker block?

When market conditions invalidate the original zone and price later returns to mitigate it. From that point the indicator treats the area with flipped polarity, and traders watch the reaction for retracement or continuation trades.

How is this different from the original Order Blocks & Breaker Blocks?

It is the evolved take on Order Blocks & Breaker Blocks, rebuilt to work without predefined input lengths. Swing detection comes from price patterns alone, which keeps the zones objective across markets and conditions.
