The ICT Killzones Toolkit trading indicator is a powerful all-in-one toolset designed for traders who follow Inner Circle Trader (ICT) concepts. It helps identify the most important trading sessions — known as Killzones — and combines them with advanced Price Action tools like Order Blocks, Breaker Blocks, Fair Value Gaps, and Market Structure Shifts. This toolkit equips traders with everything needed to analyze institutional order flow and anticipate high-probability trading setups with precision.

By blending timing-based killzones with key structural elements, the toolkit allows traders to align their entries and exits with periods of heightened liquidity and volatility — critical for both forex and futures traders seeking an edge in smart money–driven markets.

How to Trade Using the ICT Killzones Toolkit

In ICT-based trading strategies, understanding when to trade can be just as important as where to trade. The Killzones mark time intervals where institutional traders are most active — typically the Asian, London, and New York sessions. These periods often produce high-volume moves and setups like Order Blocks or Fair Value Gaps that traders can exploit for precise entries.

The image above highlights how the toolkit displays setups of interest during a Killzone. By studying these patterns, traders can focus only on the most relevant periods instead of analyzing the entire trading day.

In the example above, we can see how price retests setups generated from previous Killzones — such as Order Blocks or Fair Value Gaps. A popular approach is to enter trades on these retests and take profits as the next Killzone begins, taking advantage of recurring liquidity patterns across sessions.

Order Blocks

Order Blocks represent areas on the chart where institutional orders have caused significant buying or selling pressure, typically preceding strong price moves. The toolkit’s Order Blocks component automatically identifies these zones within Killzones, helping traders pinpoint potential support or resistance areas that institutions may revisit.

Breaker Blocks

Breaker Blocks are formed when previously active Order Blocks fail (get mitigated), revealing zones where the market reversed. These often become critical decision points — marking either continuation or reversal areas. The toolkit plots these Breaker Blocks clearly so traders can anticipate potential barriers to price movement and structure their strategies accordingly.

Fair Value Gaps

Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) are imbalances created when price moves too quickly, leaving unfilled space between candles. These areas often attract price back to “fill the gap” before resuming direction. The Fair Value Gaps feature identifies these zones, allowing traders to track inefficiencies and use them as part of liquidity-based entry strategies.

Market Structure Shifts

Market Structure Shifts (MSS) indicate significant changes in the underlying trend, such as a break of previous highs/lows that signals a shift in market sentiment. These structural changes often align with institutional moves, making them key for trend confirmation and reversal identification. The toolkit automatically detects and labels these shifts, streamlining the process for price action traders.

By combining these features, the ICT Killzones Toolkit provides a complete workflow — from identifying active sessions to detecting institutional footprints and market structure changes — all within a single unified framework.
